Who must go for the Panthers to be better?

Y'all crazy to give up on Stewart now. The same goes for Beason.

Two games in fellas. Stop overreacting.

If anyone has to go, it's Godfrey, Norman, LaFell, Edwards, Bell, Munnerlyn, and A. Smith.

Beason needs to go. Too expensive and not productive enough. He's a liability now

Josh Norman can go play in traffic. I screamed he was garbage all last year and got hammered for it. Then I let the huddle convince me during the preseason that he was actually good. We are in big trouble anytime he suits up.

Chiefs and Bears games last year.. who knows if he didn't let Ramses Barden go all Jerry Rice we wouldn't have been blown out by NYG last year. He is a bum...last week, fug the TD play, what about the play where he kept a 10 yard cushion over his man let him catch the ball and was too slow to tackle him, despite being farther up the field. Hot fuging garbage.

Falcons game last year. Naku gets the blame but Norman got beat like a red headed step child. It was almost like he released but there was no reason to. There were no underneath routes to cover.

I'll be in the minority here but all the team really needs is for Ron to stop playing afraid. It really is that simple. Ron coaches like he's afraid to lose and that trickles down to the players. All he needs to do is grow some balls and start being more aggressive offensively in the fourth quarter. Simply tell the players that for now on, they will play to win the game in the fourth as opposed to playing not to lose - stop playing conservatively and go for it on fourth down to run out the clock when needed. Don't go into a shell and hand the ball off every play "hoping" you can run out the clock. Just tells the guys they are going to pound the f*cking ball down the the other teams throat and if they still lose, at least it will be on their terms. Hell, go out with a bang at least.

I know that sounds simplistic but playing afraid to lose is what defines Ron and that is what will get him fired.

Well we know that the problem is he's not changing

Josh Norman, Josh Thomas,Beason, Capt, Both S postions, The whole right side of the Oline, Jonathan Stewart or Dwill, prob most of the WR corp besides Smith and Ginn. Replace these people with avg starters and we will have a playoff team. This is if we are overlooking coaching and going with Rivera or someone like him.

replace the worst 10 starters on any NFL team with average starters and they would be a playoff team

It's two games. He's been out for two years. Furthermore, he's been taking limited snaps even in preseason. The sample size is absurdly small and there are variables to account for. To bench him now or consider his release is premature. On that note, if you bothered to even dissect the Seattle game, Beason was actually solid. So no, your logic is flawed.

Show some damn patience and wait to have sizable evidence that Beason is a liability. Assumptions are costly.

Tell that to GMan after this season when Beason's newly restructured contract becomes void. He said his knee is still an issue. His words.

Source - Charlotte Observer. Enjoy Beason time while it lasts. He was the man before he was injured. Now he's just a guy.

Accept it. Time to move forward.

    • "by name"?  You mean they are letting him say he is retiring or stepping down? That's even more embarrassing than being fired (he basically quit) and so transparently false that the media will kill him and this university.  If this happens, I may just turn full fledge to an SMU fan since I live in Dallas now. I'm just about sick of this university's approach to basketball and football.
