Good to hear, at 0-3 any shot at the playoffs is effectively dead so why allow Rivera to finish the season?

 

On a personal note, I like Rivera and I was really rooting for him to succeed... but going 0-3 in year 3 means it's clearly time for a change. 

 

Not sure I would be comfortable with Wilks as interim HC, would think Jim Skipper would be a better interim HC (he was the assistant HC under Fox and handled a lot of the game management details for Fox). I can understand why they wouldn't want to make one of the coordinators the interim HC, they've got their hands full during a game unlike a position coach.

I've said some harsh things about Rivera, but it was in the context of the game. I don't literally hate him as a person, just as our head coach, lol. I was excited as anyone about him when we hired him, but it just boggles my mind that someone with as much experience as he has, both in playing and coaching, can be as clueless as he is when it's gameday.

I never thought I'd say this but we need to lose on sunday. Short term success would give us long term failure. Rivera is just not an nfl caliber coach.
