By week 9, what does out record need to be for you NOT want a coaching change?

Personally I'm not certain that would be accurate.

I recall RR living off of the 06 season with the bears, who clearly had a highly talented defensive roster. They didn't exactly shut people down and thrived mainly from special teams.

Is he a fair game planner sure, has he adapted scheme with players (3-4 to 4-3 and vise versa) sure. Is he a great DC, no.

Wasn't to long ago he almost lost that post with average talent in SD.

I will admit I was all in to start (though turns out that is likely just a reaction to something other than Fox), but RR isn't exactly a great DC, certainly not a great in game defensive coach either.

Ron isn't getting fired midseason. I believe he has to win a playoff game to be here in 2014.

Definitely different skill sets.

Dick LeBeau is one of the greatest defensive coordinators in history, but as a head coach, he was a failure.

Some guys can succeed at both. Unfortunately, a lot of guys can't :(

sorry in my eyes, Rivera cant redeem himself anymore. He has proven over and over again that he will instinctively make mistakes over and over. He is not an HC in my book, period. Great DC, but this is not his gig.
