By week 9, what does out record need to be for you NOT want a coaching change?

BTW aren't you guys so glad we waited a year instead of firing him after 2012 just to see how Ron would do with 2 seasons of head coaching experience under his belt even though it was pretty apparent he couldn't hack it a year ago?

Was it that JR legitimately wanted to give him one more chance or that he didn't want to be paying two head coaches at once? Before anyone says no way, let's not forget what JR did in 2010 with John Fox. Rinse and repeat.

I've seen enough of Rivera so it doesn't matter.  I don't want us to lose...but I'm just over the guy as our coach.  The sooner we get this current staff away from the young talent the better.  Good thing at least Cam is the only vulnerable offensive talent and we have defensive coaches that Luke and Star can at least excel under.

He is legitimately a great DC.

Personally I'm not certain that would be accurate.

I recall RR living off of the 06 season with the bears, who clearly had a highly talented defensive roster. They didn't exactly shut people down and thrived mainly from special teams.

Is he a fair game planner sure, has he adapted scheme with players (3-4 to 4-3 and vise versa) sure. Is he a great DC, no.

Wasn't to long ago he almost lost that post with average talent in SD.

I will admit I was all in to start (though turns out that is likely just a reaction to something other than Fox), but RR isn't exactly a great DC, certainly not a great in game defensive coach either.
