Yeah I agree. I know we always argue over cam. But trust me I've always wanted him to suceed. As far as blame. Hell we could take all blame away from any of the players and directly on the coaching staff. That's where the real problem is

 

There are actually people here that are hoping for us to lose because they dislike Rivera that much and want him gone. I would much rather us win, there is never a time where losing should be acceptable for this franchise.

I just think it will be a ugly blow out, they will be up well by double digits in the 4th qtr for a meltdown to happen. Cruz and Nicks aganst this secondary, they will score at will. Expect a ugly game like the Denver game last year

Before the Bills game I made a prediction to a friend of mine that the Panthers would lose due to an extremely stupid play by someone on the team. The sad part is that he went along with my prediction right away and thought the same thing.

 

This game will probably be a blowout that will expose our secondaries inability to both cover and tackle large receivers, let alone get the coverage correct. On the other end Cam will continue to miss deep passes, and remind us all that he can't manage a game with short an intermediate passes because he simply isn't accurate enough. Mix in a few sacks on both sides of the ball, and the Panthers lose by about 13 points.

I would have agreed with you but seeing as our secondary (which I completely have forgotten about) is in shambles. With a rookie S and some questionable players in there. Thomas being out, Norman injured, Captain being the only healthy good corner we have. Eli has a sick WR core with a TE that can block and catch to boot. Now that I think about it. We might get blown out. Unless something miraculous happens like the secondary meshing and not blowing assignments, and the D line just mauling Manning all day, I do not like our odds at a close game.

Yes the secondary is an issue. But Eli has been throwing up a lot of prayers, and that's resulted in 7 INT's. Their defense has also gave up 31 to Dallas, and 41 to Denver. Yeah we could get blown out, but I think it'll be close.

Dallas and Denver have pretty good WR cores and TE cores. We have Smith, Ginn, LaFell, Olsen. Oh and Denver and Dallas has average or above average O lines. Ours is...ugh...-___-

 

I just don't see it dude. If we keep it close and lose by 7 or less, I will actually be some what happy for a moral victory. I rather win but these couple of weeks have been a microcosm (Panthers.com favorite word) of what Riveras tenure has been. I do not see this team winning Sunday. I would love nothing but to be wrong this time, I was wrong the past two weeks. This time being wrong and getting a W would be awesome. Again man, I do not see this team winning. Especially with a pissed off NYG team that has beaten us at home before.
