Gettleman and Cam....is this going to work out?

Has not helped the offense??? With all of the cap room he inherited he could've gotten us real playmakers. The fuging QB threw a WR screen pass that literally traveled 8 yards three feet over a receivers hands on Sunday. fug helping Cam, get a QB that can help us win games.

How about an OL....

Your QB and scheme are both about throwing downfield.

You want to dink and dunk then let your OL suck and get a QB who will play small ball and get a coach who runs that scheme

Everyone has there on view of how to play the game....

Not everyone would have wanted a young Mike Vick or a Cam. You have to adapt to get what you want out of them. A lot of football guys are stubborn and don't believe one changing

Gettlemen is a dinosaur....which is why no NFL team would even talk to him except us. 2011....DG doesn't take Cam at 1

I really think that the Oline has passed blocked okay. Particularly in the middle at guard and center. Bell has been a turnstile. I don't think that Bell's first kick is wide enough to compensate his cinderblock feet. Still, I think the pass blocking improved from last year. Cam has time to finish his drop and pat the ball before he gets hit....I just don't think that he can sense pressure until it's too late. We were all over Wilson week one, but he recognized it early and got out of trouble, when will we see it from Cam?

Stats are great and I love that Cam is putting up numbers. But on crucial third downs, all the yards and splash plays that make him GREAT for the stat guys don't mean jack if you over throwing wide open receivers.

This whole conversation is the SCREW UP and for me why I am pissed at Richardson, the owner. This whole transition, rebuild has been done half ass. The right thing to do would have been to fire Hurney with John Fox and bring everyone in at the same time.

Instead, its Fox gets fired and Hurney stays. Then we have a new coach and the same GM. Then its bring in a new GM the following season and keep the old HC the previous guy hired. Now its another lost season until this new GM fires the old HC that wasnt his...... AND to top it all off we have a potential franchise QB floating around in the wind who now we talk about if he will stay when this new GM who didnt draft him, brings in his coach who will want his own guy.

Its all ass backwards. Jerry needed to and should have fired Hurney and Fox at the same time. Brought in his new GM, and Coach together and they would have drafted Cam. Instead the last three seasons has been a complete waste.

You never kno, the new tandem could have drafted Gabbert.......let that soak in...

Cam has missed some throws and he hasnt played as good as he normally does but every qb misses throws it happens at the end of the day cam had us in position to be 2-0 only to have the defense choke it away I also think this offense has cam uncomfortable because they want him to be a pocket passer but thats not what hes best at hes best when hes allowed to do both not to mention the right side of the oline is a dumpster fire

Well if thats the case we would have already went 0-16 with clausen at qb that would have been a dumb move by gettleman
