Shaw from Stanford is what I want. He has made that school a legit football program. Sumlin got lucky with Manziel, dude was a 3 star, those type of players rarely pan out.

You mean like 3 star recruit Aldon Smith and 2 star recruit JJ Watt?

The average star rating for 1st round picks for 2013 was 3.53.

But yeah those guys rarely pan out.

Cool story, sir. Check the ratings for receivers, it happens on occasion no doubt. But for every one 3 star prospect that pans out, there are a poo ton of 3 stars or two stars that don't pan out. But keep trying, sir. Whatever makes you sleep better at night.

Tomlin, Roman are my top options from the NFL. I like Sumlin and maybe Shaw from Stanford if we went the college route.

Now, here's why it doesn't matter. Steelers won't fire Tomlin. JR won't hire Roman because he's an offensive minded coach. Sumlin and Shaw will not even be considered because they are college coaches.

So, next coach will probably be Perry Fewell, lol.

On the brightside, we could wake up any random hobo sleeping on a bench and make him our next coach and it would be an upgrade over Rivera.

 

If we hire Perry Fewell I am done, man. Done.

Dennis Green! They ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE! Plus he was a good coach for the Vikings and actually had success unlike a lot of the bums I'm sure we look at.

If Tomlin's performance proved bad enough that they were willing to make an exception in his case, then I'm not interested.
