GTA V (tease)

Yeah I think that's one achievement I won't get.

I did the subtle approach on The Big One. Bigger crew, smaller cut for players. It was about $18 mil. How much is the payout with the smaller crew?

I keep getting red dead flashbacks and trying to skin wildlife after I kill it

I think I got somewhere between 24-27 million for the other approach.

Slowly working my way through the story.  Really enjoying the game, and the story line feels better than most GTA's.  Really like the idea to use three main characters....

I just finished rescuing Michael from the factory with Franklin. Interested to see how the Trevor/Michael angle works itself out, and also if the Chinese dealer angle is done.

It was an amazing game, but it felt spread too thin at some parts in the story that they could have fleshed out a bit more.  I still haven't played the online... thinking about starting it up and trying it out tonight.

That being said they don't leave any major loose ends or anything at the end (aside from a stranger mission or two)... assuming you make the right choice.  *cough* death wish *cough*

What if you has no friends to play with on Xbox Live?

Still fun?

I look at it like going to a movie or any other form of entertainment...you may enjoy yourself going solo, but it's always better with a friend.  And when I say friend, I don't necessarily mean people you know IRL.  I live in a fairly rural area so I don't know many people personally that game, especially around my age.  So I play with a bunch of people I met up with on Xbox Live.  Still have a blast.

I have heard a lot of complaints about online - disappearing characters, vehicles, property, numerous microtransactions, etc.

Worked smooth for me last night.  I know it was buggy as fug that first week, and the first few days it was unplayable (which is why I haven't bothered with it, I couldn't even log on the first day I tried it).

I'll give R* some credit though... they seem to have been on the damn ball fixing all that stuff up extremely quick considering how messed up it was.  That online was completely fuged up at launch.

Yeah, it was terrible the first couple of days.  I had a friend who lost his level 27 character.  Personally I haven't ran into any of the problems listed above, but others have.  Rockstar has been patching pretty quickly though, and it's running pretty well for most people right now I believe.

So I've been playing around on the map after finishing the missions.

I found the big cargo plane that crashed into the Alamo Sea - I found a bunch of weapons in the wreckage. They seem to respawn every few seconds, so it was hard to tell where I've already searched. Has anyone else checked it out and found something valuable?

I did find about $21k total in two spots off the west coast looking for submarine parts.

I held off the military for like 15-20 minutes trying to steal a fighter jet. Then I was shot down in like 5 seconds once I got it.

Also it seems characters die much easier now. I don't think I died in a vehicle accident the whole time I played missions. On the stats page, my longest fall survived in a vehicle are all over 800 feet. Now I can't even ride down a mountain without getting clotheslined by a tree branch.
