What kind of head coach does this team need?

personally i'm rooting for greg roman, tom clements, and david shaw.

The type of coach we need is one either named Sumlin or Shaw.

An offensive guru.  A guy who can develop QB's and has a strong personality to handle Cam Newton.  That's all that really matters.  Jim Harbaugh would have been perfect.

I'd also prefer an offensively minded HC next time around though I am intrigued by Mike Zimmer.

The idea of hiring mike Zimmer makes me want to stab myself in the ears. We just went through Rivera, lets not hire the same guy again.

Seifert.. thought his poo did not stink... he was wrong.  I still smell it. 

 

 Fox was too snooty, he thought he was better than this gig and I believe he used us from the jump.  Riv sees that and everything else he's seen in his career and I think he became an actor.  It's like he is playing a role.   A role of what he thinks a HC should act like.  Not himself at all.   Like he is walking in the mold of his owner or something.  You know how if you go out with your boss you don't do anything they don't do first?

 

I think he needs to take the gloves off this week and be himself.  If however this is the real him, then he seems like a really swell fella who has a huge heart and has my respect as a great player and DC.  But I need some real piss and vinegar from my football coach.  Especially when the team's MO is not finishing.

 

I like the guy and I love where he has brought our D in a short time.  Not sure he has the attitude its gonna take though.  And if I'm wrong and he does have that fire but is tempering it or professional purposes, time to release the hounds Riv!!  Stomp throats and sn@tch spines through assholes this week pal.. And Rivera was a way more successful coordinator. Zimmer is the loser version of Rivera. Oh boy.

I think I like this idea. It seems like his team is predicated on having very good OL. In consecutive year one of this lineman is gonna be to 5 pick.

Any body who thinks there is an answer to the read-option have no business coaching nowadays. too old school. Old school with progressive mind can also work.
