Calm the F34ck Down : the reality is to get to a point where were on the same level as Sanfran, Seahawks and Greenbay are today this poo will take time.

The difference between last year and this year is that we have Upgraded our defensive line and of course that has given us a chance to come this close to beating Seahawks, almost winning against buffallo which is a very very deeply talented team.

In a perfect situation we win both games.. the reality is we need more talent and depth that you cant build in one off season.

If you watch documentaries about the Patriots before they were a dynasty(they are just an average team now) they went through hell which of course john fox made sure we were in before he got ran out.
-Yes we all now hate loosing

- Yes we want to win -

-Yes the NFL is that competitive and if they field a better more talented team than us and even if mistakes are not made theres a possibility they will win.

- Yes i cant wait to see us go against 49'ers :) that will be a fun game.

Its nice to see the offensive line gelling and im sure we will start winning games. In the meantime - i cant wait to see us play Atlanta , Tampa , New England .. e.t.c

In the meantime :AS MUCH AS I EMOTIONALLY BROKE DOWN YESTERDAY WATCHING US LOOSE lol :

Calm Down And Enjoy watching the Panthers on their Upwards Journey to being one of  the most talented team in the NFL.

Shut up, no one is whiney. We are all collectively calling for the head of the worst "GAME DAY" coach in the history of the merger era NFL. He will never be a head coach in the NFL again after this year. Just like Hurney is unemployeed and Lovie Smith.

Ron is that you?

Yes my son it is i.. it is i Ron sitting right next to Jerry counting the money that we will make off our guaranteed contracts while we place the whole Panther nation on an emotional roller coaster.

The reality is this is why we love the NFL - the complete and total emotional  reality rollercoaster delivered to you every sunday guaranteed. :)

Few have the balls to build a team that delivers this sort of entertainment to our american public like the team i have built.

Ill say this thank god im not a tampa bay fan :)

I think what has long-term fans frustrated is that the Panthers have had time to get to being a top team and they haven't done.

2010 was the bottom for the Panthers obviously.  But San Fran was also very bad in 2010.  One of the 2 teams we beat.  Coaching was their issue- that 2010 team had talent, Singletary was just in over his head (sound familiar).

San Fran hired a great coach and look what happened.  Now you can say Carolina didn't have the talent San Fran did starting 2011, but Rivera has had 2+ years.

The Panthers have had enough talent the last 2 years to make a playoff push with good coaching.  Are WR, O line, and our secondary still not issues next year?  One of those groups will probably be worse talent wise than now.

The truth is that we see the situation that it's Week 3, the Panthers are 0-2, and there is nothing to give us hope that this isn't another wasted year.

The optimist in me looks at the schedule and says we are not out of it given that almost all our division games are at the end of season.  But the realist in me is unconvinced with the current administration the Panthers will win 6 games

    • Little worried about Jarvy Shoulder and that torn cuff, it's needed surgery for 2 years now and he's gonna play with it injured again next season.    I like the toughness but would definitely prefer it to be fixed. He's an intritical player on the team going forward.    Also I was high on pain pills last time I wrote about saving cap space but I didn't go into detail cause I wouldn't have been able to do so. "still on a ton of pain medication but not as nearly as many, think I'm down to 23 pills a day from 32 a few days ago, 18 of them are for pain management in some form or another."     But I digress let's get to the point I was trying to make in my last post about saving, I'll now use Jarvis as an example.    Let's say the canes spend 23m of the 28m in space they have available. Then have Jarvis get surgery and put him on LTIR at the start of the regular season.  You let the cap space sit til the trade deadline. At the deadline that cap space would have accural on it and the team can use that space and spend 24m on incoming salary for the rest of the season. Let's say they bring in 5 players and send out two. "player A has an 8m AAV contract" he'd cost Carolina 4m the rest of the season. Player B makes 10 "cost of 5. So forth and so forth.  Using that accural system and the Jarvis LTIR, the Canes could then go into the playoffs with a healthy Jarvis and be 19m over the cap legally for a cup run. The more cap space available at the start of the season, the larger the accural would be at the trade deadline.    That was the first part of what I was going to try and articulate the other day but I'm on 35mg of oxy every 6 hours plus ketorolac and two other pain pills and another for kidney spasms.    Have a wonderful night everyone
