I think you extend Cam when the time comes to extend him. He can be a good QB. Shula and Rivera have made a calculated decision in 2013 to hand-cuff Cam in the name of "his own safety".

If he's playing as well as many of you guys think he will, why wouldn't he play out his current contract and hit FA where he could land a potential $100M+ deal?

Everything about this team is just frustrating...from the front offIce mess that still lingers, crappy play and suck ass coaching.....you think there would be something that isn't depressing.

Also, our home field environment is the worst in the NFL.

We did win greatest uni's ever though!

Yeah there are no free agents that would be any improvement over what they have. The list is mostly other team's cuts.

I guess we could trade. What team has too many stud CBs or OLs laying around?

There were some early on that would have been implements.

Kerry Rhodes could walk on and be by far the best member of our secondary....that is improvement

People have a lot of trust in a guy no one outside of Jerry Richardson would even interview....

So far I'm pretty happy with what he has done, and I think that he has this team's long term success in mind.  Hurney and for that matter Fox were always looking for the cheap fix, with seemingly little outlook for the future.

I think that the moves made so far are more about next year and beyond, not this season.

That said, he could be just as inept as Hurney.
