Lol...

"Well one good thing is we played the NFC favorites hard and nearly won."

Like wtf, are we not an NFL team just like them?  I nearly lost it when I heard him say that... just publicly admitting mediocrity is fine especially when he knows his job, and many other jobs, are on the line.

Get rid of this fuger, he doesn't have a fuging clue.

Your Sig tells the story of my life..

How could he possible process sooo much information?

Exactly.

His explanation was that if we had gained yards on 2nd down then d-wills run of 4 yds on 3-5 would've been a first down instead of 4th and 1.  Basically that if the players had done their job he wouldn't have to make these TOUGH decisions.  Fuggin players actually having to play against another NFL team and not 7-on-7 drills in TC.

A good reporter would have followed his answer up with.....well, why not

TimTom provided only a partial quote. Ron went onto say that the backups make plays every day in practice and that he has to be able to trust them in a game situation. Very different than just "well, no."

Only Marty Hurney would see something in Ron Rivera that the ten other teams that interviewed him didn't.

Hurney saw a dumbass who he would be able to manipulate into coaching the team how Marty wanted, playing how Marty wanted, using Martys players, etc..  Then if it didn't work out he could fire the coach and start over with the next one but if it DID work out he could jump in and take all of the credit.  Too bad JR didn't realize what a lying worthless snake Marty was until it was too late and we wasted 3 years on nothing but misey.

Well after a 2-14 record of contests that 7 points or less in the 4qtr you'd think the fuggin idiot would learn not to trust his defense.

Bad coaches are afraid to make the tough decisions. This is Ron's biggest weakness and it's what makes him a shitty coach entirely. He can have the best game plan in the world but as long as he keeps playing this not to lose chicken sht football he will continue to lose by last second touchdowns.

I'm ashamed to call him coach of the Panthers. Even Jon Candyass Fox would have gone for it.

    • I like that a lot; Ware from Troy and also Khalil Mack who played at University of Buffalo
    • I remember the Huddle consensus over the course of last season and the previous one. Lots of Bryce is a bust, we should've drafted a 4th slot WR, should've kept Wilks, should've kept an armless Cam, etc etc. So... yea... already thought about that. I wouldn't trust the Huddle to detail my car, let alone run a multi-billion dollar professional sports team. 😛
    • bold prediction, I think Mike Green will be the best pass rusher in this class, and thats even with abdul carter.  He reminds me of demarcus ware, not just in size and prowess, but even coming from a Sunbelt school (Ware from Troy, Green from Marshall).  I think he is passionate about the sport where I think Carter as the physical freak might not have the heart.  Thats the guy Im sold on and am gonna hammer the table for, I know he's not projected 8, but he is projected like 12-13, so if a slide back can happen and we still get the guy I want, I'm 100% on board. All that said, it takes 2 to tango, I think the Cowboys are the tango-er.  IMO theres a VERY good shot that Jeanty is available at 8.  Why does that matter?  Not only do the cowboys NEED a runningback (dak sucks without a run game), but MORE importantly, gee where did Jeanty play in high school.....Frisco TX, literally Dallas Metro.  Soo, RB is a position of need and the best RB and most blue chip draft selection that  could improve the offense immensly played IN dallas metro AND will be in range for them to move up and pick?  Do ya think Jerry Jones is gonna just say no to the Jersey Sales?  Jerry might have sexually assaulted a woman and attempted to prevent black people from going to school, but he's no idiot (he is).  IMO, we get a good enough package, prlly their first and third,  maybe a conditional later and we move to 12.  We get Green, they get Jeanty, everbuddy happy.
