Name a "special guys" who haven't been playing on the pro level say for like ten years that maybe able to do what you're speaking of? There isn't one QB that is asked to do what Cam is doing where fans, like some of you, expect so much out of him while excepting so little from the rest of the team. Those QBs don't last in the NFL because the team burn them out and fans like you seem to think it's okay.

 

I guess his skin color must be messing with some of you because you seem to see him as some sort of workhorse. Wrong! In the real world of QBing, it's the surrounding cast of players who STEP UP to help the QB, remember? Not the QBs killing themselves to do it all.

I dont even think Cam played THAT bad, we just missed a few important opportunities.  Still killing me the defense gave us the ball twice in their red zone and we only muster up 6 points.  That's on Ron, Mike, Cam, everybody.

 

I dont give two shits about RG3 or CK to talk about them, nor does anyone else really.

now, i might get flamed for this by the kaepernick huggers, but i think it might be time to sit him in favor of mccoy to see what he has.  based on his tattoos and the dolphins hat thing i don't know if he has the intelligence to make the reads necessary to be a quality starter in this league.

Lol would love to see them bring in someone new. They're not getting anyone more dangerous then Cam. Are we really discussing this? QB is not the problem. Today's NFL is just so unreal when it comes to QB week to week. I mean I heard Tony Dungy say last night "one more work and Washington should consider benching RG3 for Cousins" aren't you ***** kidding me Dungy?

Weeks ago we were all "Cam is gonna leave here for Dallas or some other big market". Now we aren't sure if gettleman or some new coach will want him? If we were 2-0 and the defense hadnt blown a lead and Deangelo hadn't fumbled we would be talking about "how many years for cams extension" right now.

Any new coach that comes in here and doesn't want Newton is an instant failure, I can tell you that

What I find so interesting about this topic is, since I've been here the desire to make more out of the rest of this team seems to fall on deaf ears. It's like no one wants to face the reality that the Panthers have become quite a dysfunctional bunch of men long before Fox left. They seem to want to treat what they see every Sunday as the fault of Cam because he didn't do something right in their eyes., And, if he did everything right, the team would win. Or simply ignoring the obiouvs issues of this team and focus on Cam will help the other stuff to go away. It's a case of serious denial.

 

There is a saying, if you want to see the mentality of a team, read their fansite. I simply can't with some of the dysfuntional folks on here. It would be downrigth sad, if it wasn't so funny.

Not letting our offense get one yard to seal the victory is one of the dumbest coaching decisions I've ever seen.

Cam played like Peyton last night. Did you see how many balls Peyton over/under threw? How long has be been playing this game? Maybe it's time to retire his ass. Je's getting old. SMH But it's amazing how his team still managed to win for him. Shocking how that works.

 

As for Colin and RG III, they are well talked about. Way more than Cam....unless it's the media loving to repeat some of the ish they read on sites like this about the endless concerns over every mistake Cam makes.

 

Some of you act as if this team either doesn't have a problem or is so deep in it's own mess that you're looking for one person to rescue it. Sadly that will not happen. Football is a team sport. You're only as strong as your weakest link.

I wouldn't go that far. Cam should have his fair share of the blame.

He has struggled and seems very uncomfortable in this offense but we have had the lead twice at the end of the game only to have the defense give up a td if the defense holds then we are 2-0 so in my mind he has played well enough its not like he has a bunch of turnovers he just missed some throws
