So why are you even here if you are so disapointed, if you dislike that team so much, you have plenty of teams, some are already 2-0. personally i'll stick with the Panthers, here on this forum or another..

The glory is with the underdog or supposed bad teams i am a fan since 1999 and this is not going to change because of 2 defeats.

What's wrong with my attitude?... Something wrong with being a fan? Something wrong with not being happy that we lost? I just don't care for the eternal whining by "some" on this forum. As I have stated yesterday, I also believe that it is time for a change at, at least, the HC position........ No matter what happens though, I will remain a fan.......

Respect.

I have no problem with people trying to stay positive.

I have no problem with criticism.

Both are legit things fans do.

I just don't like the people who say "boycott" or "thats it I am done". We don't need those types of fans.

how many years do we have to have threads like this after the first couple games?

it's unacceptable.

something needs to change and from the look of it, that change ain't happening as long as rivera and shula are coaching and they think they know what they are doing.

Until we are GMs and decision makers in the NFL, which Zod might have a chance to using his Kittens and charm, I think we can safely say that our complaints are like gnats to an elephant.  Or a better analogy might be a man's fart has the same consequence to the sun?

As a place where fans congregate, the only people we're going to upset is each other.  I will continue to support the team because I've seen worse.  This is my team, and will be my son's team, and they will get better.  It happens, just look at the Bengals!  If someone decides to give up on the Panthers, that's cool.  Do what you got to do to be happy.  I will continue to watch games when I can, but I won't let the hope I had going into the Seahawk's game happen again this season.  If we win great, if we lose, how did we screw this one up.  I won't let the team determine how I feel again.

Honestly, all the coaching bullshit aside, I think the biggest problem for our team is that we all think each and every year that we have some of the best talent in the league. We are flat out a bad team this year. Our recruiters should be lined up against a wall and shot along with most of the rest of our front office. We have potentially the worst secondary and O-Line in the league. A front 7 that was proclaimed to be dominant but have been pretty silent in their first two outings. A WR core that has its best player (dont get me wrong I LOVE Smitty) aging and has honestly lost a step with little to no help around him. We hang our hat on a QB that has not been developed and most likely will not be able to fit into our scheme unless we change. I mean we had to have a post yesterday, which I agree with, to talk about how great the punting was to have any positive spin on the game. Truth of the matter is we are not that good of a team.

Gettleman kept the entire scouting department from the Hurney era. Hopefully that changes shortly.

Well, what is your average spread for an NFL game? I'm guessing less than 7 points. Just today, three games were decided in  the last 10 seconds and another went to OT, and the week is not over.

Coaching. Coaching. Coaching.  Patriots were a beat ass versus the Bills and they won.  Jets were supposed to suck and the Patriots who are expected to win their division only win by three against them.

Situational coaching separates the average coach from the great coach in the NFL.  Face it... talent wise, these teams are all pretty even. You need more than just talent to win in this league. That's why I LMAO when somebody says such and such player should have won the game. Literally, every player on an NFL roster is  like one of the best players in the world at their position.

Rivera has not shown that he is even an average coach at this point in his HC career.

But they are missing a litle something to win close games.

I see several very unfair bashing threads, you are not going to help your team if you don't stand with them in the defeat.

We have lost 2 battles, the army is not routed, the war is not over, Cam must rally his troops and lead them to victory.

GO PANTHERS!

this has nothing to do with you or I...  but carry on good soldier who doesn't play football games for the Carolina Panthers.

Ok, let's recap:

Fumble in the red zone and we loses a close game to a top team that creams SanFran at home. Have a tough time running or stopping the run at buffalo but still manufacture some points to be ahead until the last Buffalo drive...

Hardly the start we wanted but not hopeless, our QB is struggling with a new scheme and the running game with DWill is slow to develope....but it does remind us of last year, so it sucks to watch ( again).

Our new LB has a rookie mistake on the last drive with a penalty and our D backfield is crippled with injuries and doesn't cover a simple corner route on the last play.

we did have some turnovers and decent offense against a solid defensive team at home. Does the play calling need to adapt to the situation quicker, you bet. Does Cam need to be a pocket passer with a quicker clock in his head, you bet. we need short passes to open up the running lanes ( or vise versa) but with neither, it a tough road to hoe....

0-2 sucks, but there are easy fixes to made us a better team. I'm more interested in who is going to take a leadership role and demand a better performance. Our D seemed to run out of gas after the half, that can be fixed. Maybe it's time for Olsen and Beason to take the lead and push for smart physical play w/o the stupid penalties...kind of like we need here at the hundle, this is our team and they hurt as much as us at this loss. only hard work from all will get us to the next level.

BTW, the wild cat? that was a nice wrinkle but I bet Cam was not too pleased it was done. maybe it was signal to him to get it together...
