There will be people predicting 14-2 here although we all know that is fake hype. We all know deep inside that, from experience, it means nothing. Been there, nothing changed.

 

I cant see myself not rooting for my team. 

 

I forgot how it feels to wake up to a PantherVIctory monday of high expectations. 

 

Maybe i will feel better tomorrow. Today sucks.

ill always root for this team and i will hope we win every single game from here on out.

 

but my expectations are pretty much gone now. Ill hope for the best but realize the worst is more likely. Changes are coming to Carolina though, that is certain.

I have the perfect opportunity to root for another team. NY Giants, NY Jets, the Bills lol. Hell, even Philly isn't far away. But I'm still a Panthers fan and always will be. But I've lost almost all emotional attachment to the team (started with the Jake implosion game). It just doesn't matter anymore. I won't invest an ounce of energy until we win (of course) and actually field a good team in the off season.

 

I'm also a Braves fan, and have long been emotionally dead with those clowns lol. At least they'll make the Playoffs this year (and lose).

Schits depressing man. my homeboy is a niners fan and I talked so much schit during the offseason that they hired harbaugh. they sucked for so long, a HC wouldn't make that big an impact year 1, right? karma is a beesh. but I can't wait til we have our 360.

Just hope the next coach hired can reinvigorate the fan base.  Rivera never did that.  Chud's offense did give us a reason to watch after the 2010 debacle, but overall the Rivera Era has been a waste.

 

It's hard to say anything bad about the guy personally, but he wasn't ready & probably not cut out to be a head coach.

 

My frustration, like a lot of fans, goes all the way to the top with JJR today.  I love the man for what he brought to this city, but 4 winning seasons out of 18 (and let's be honest probably 19) is not a success.

 

There was so much promise 10 years during the Super Bowl run to erase the awfulness of the 2001 1-15 team and the Rae Carruth story and to prove the NFL franchise here was built to compete on an ongoing basis. 

 

I will always stand by the team, but it has been hard.  As a fan base, we sell out the stadium and support the team.  We deserve better I feel. 

 

I want Richardson & Gettleman to hire a legit head coach and give us a reason to be excited again.
