After Rivera is fired this team needs to do whatever the fug they can to make Cam Newton the best qb in the nfl. The talent is there we have all seen it.

Do not draft a coach who is only interested in one side of the ball.

Get Cam some fuging weapons and some fuging protection. Hire someone to work with Cam and get his mechanics right.

I want to hear from Gettlemen! Damn it I don't care what Rivera or Cam has to say. I want to know what the top dogs feel about the direction of our team. It's possible Getts saw the writing on the wall, realized we weren't a contender, and decided to let Rivera and several other " core" guys play out their contracts for a high pick and cap relief. Is it possssiiibbbllleee? After seeing the same ish happen, I think so.

there are way more holes before we even begin to worry about cam.  a new LT is needed.  move gross to the right side and get bell out.  maybe with a decent line and actual #2 WR he'd look like the player we know he can be.  i'd like to see us hire greg roman or kevin sumlin, take a franchise LT in the first round and CB/WR in rounds 2 and 3

He loves hiring cheap coordinators, so expect the same even with Gettleman. Look at the Giants coaching staff closely, and that will give you a good idea. 

 

If Jim Fassel wasn't having such a blast in United Football League, I'd say give him a ring! :)

I like the idea of waiting till 8 games to decide on RR. 

 

If he makes it to 4-4 let him finish out the season. If not let Mcd take over. Only consider keeping him for another year if he finishes 6-2 or better with a complete turn around. (not happening)

Call up the eagles and see if we could get a first for cam. Can you imagine what Kelly could do with him? I love Cam. I hate that he got drafted by just a poo franchise. I don't want to see his light snubbed out in carolina. I want to see him in canton one day.

Trade smitty to a real contender for what ever we could get. Maybe a 5th? He deserves a ring. He's been so loyal to us. I would be sad, but he could push a team over the top. And it would put him in the hall of fame. Give him his statue when he retires.

Cut dwill, jstew, beason, gross, cgod, lafell, armanti. Cap hit would be huge. Spend the next 2-3years in the basement (where we've been since 2009).

Aquire draft picks. Don't fug up draft picks. If you didn't play D-1 ball, you don't get drafted by this team. Draft offensive linemen. Draft corners. Draft legit playmakers. This means first round draft picks spent on wide receiver's.

Hire offensive minded coaches. Coaches that will take chances and can win at least one challenge per year.

Then by some miracle, in a move no one saw coming, jerry Richardson sells the panthers to mark Cuban. He builds a stadium that makes jerry world look like a shack.

Easy.

If I was the GM, I would play the waiting game. See how things pan out for the next 4-6 weeks.  This year I have a pass anyways, I want my own HC and coaching staff.

 

There are glaring wholes at OL, WR, CB and FS/SS.

 

I addressed the DT position and we have some talent at DE and LBer corps.

 

For the most part this is Ron's team, I put my stamp on this team by selecting Star.

 

I want to give Ron a chance, but I will not pull the trigger until we are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs.

 

I already have a short list of HC's and OC's/DC's  to interview once the season ends.

 

Panthers fans, you need to be patient, this team is no where close to be contenders with Ron at the helm and the lack of talent at key positions.
