RR is not a good HC. I now agree with that....I have him almost as many chances to prove people wrong as Dwayne Jarrett and I promised myself I would never go that far again.

Firing him on Monday would at least potentially keep Cam from futher buying into the loser mentality and tainting guys like Luke and Star.

I knew it last year after the game in Atlanta. And I thought Ron was the guy until that point.... that day, I said to myself this is a scared SOB that will never win in this league at any consistent amount of time... even if he ever gets to a bigger stage - he still will ultimately fail on that stage because his inherent trait is to retreat into a shell when he's winning.

Yes today was the straw that broke my back too.

He said he would be more aggressive and today when the time was winding down his yellow stripe was on full display yet again.

Very disheartening for a grown man to not be able to grow from his mistakes after watching hundreds of hours of tape over the summer.

Plus he is quoted in the Charlotte Observer saying the loss was excruciating and makes it sounds like the Panthers need to learn to win.

Not once in his tenure have I been one of the people saying Rivera should be fired. Today, that ended. The man has been given ample opportunity to prove himself and the only thing he's proven is that he can't win. Why we would continue on with him as our coach is beyond me at this point. So, you're right. I considered myself an eternal optimist, especially when compared with you lot. But this was indeed the straw that broke the camel's back.
