What to do with the Secondary now?

We had a substandard secondary before today.  4 injuries later we will be lucky to field a secondary next week.  In light of having 2nd and 3rd stringers playing in the secondary next week, what defensive scheme do we go to?  Do we drop all LB's back into coverage on all plays?  Wow, we are in trouble.

We know we will have Captain and Mitchell. And Colin Jones....that is 3 we know can suit up.

I would assume they bring Florence back. Not sure about S. Don't recall them working out any

We are going to have to re-sign Florence. Don't see any way around it. I would imagine DJ Campbell or Anderson Russell will be re-signed as well.

 

I say move Mike Mitchell to FS (God help us...), let Mikell start at SS (when he gets healthy) and pray.

Mikell is the better SS. Might as well let that spot be solidified. Mitchell looks to have more range as well. It's worth trying.

It's the NFL. These things happen. Teams know how to fix it. Make not be great but we will field enough players to play. I hear brandon hogan is available if we can pry him away from the fast food imdustry
