Remember during the prime Fox years where you knew if as long as we kept it close, we'd somehow pull it out in the end? Cardiac cats at it's finest.  Now it's the complete opposite.

Just because RR has proven to be a puss of a HC, that doesn't mean Fox was a good one. He's gone, and I'm still glad he's gone. The RR experiment has failed, but longing for a failure from the past is extremely short sighted.

Gettleman seems to be the first good hire this franchise has ever made, and I have faith that he'll turn things around. He's only been here half a year, though, it's not coming over night.

Also, take a look at the SF@Sea game. Seattle is up 12-0 right now, halfway through the 3rd. We don't look so bad now, do we.

BTW, I think the bigger mistake by RR was to go conservative on 3rd and 5. Keep a pass a real option, hell even take a shot. Being aggressive on that 3rd down has a lot payback, and all you risk is giving the Bills 1 time out. Open the playbook on that 3rd down. Run up the middle has no chance. You can still kick your damn FG on 4th and 5, if you don't make it.
