Definitely MCD over shula. I wouldn't mind Jim skipper for interim hc either. I realize he has almost no experience but the last time the panthers had any dominant unit it was his rb's in 08.

Right now I would take anyone over Rivera.  Shula hasn't proven he is able to handle the offense yet.  Skipper or Mcderment as interim.  Have confidence with G-man on the phone with JR telling him we have a coaching problem.   Change now or the season is lost along with those who by tickets.

if we fire rivera it'll probably be after the giants game. jerry will probably give him a shot in week three and if we somehow pull out a convincing win rivera will coach the rest of the season.

 

making a coaching change at this point in the season when you honestly have no viable options on the roster is kind of pointless; it only serves to appease a fanbase. given this the absolute last thing you want to do is put in an even worse guy at the helm.
