they we're ok, they needed to be a little more enthusiastic, they sounded like that D-will run was just ordinary, and they didn't even show a replay

I am 100% fine with unenthusiastic. It is refreshing after seeing so many announcers blow their load over a good form tackle. Of course they just have to go apeshit if that form tackle is by one of the big names they actually know.

I thought the ACC Championship was awesome, because the whole time Paul Maguire had no idea which players were the stars for VT and BC and therefore couldn't talk about how every head juke they performed was the second coming of Red Grange.

They all suck and talk entirely too much. If I hear someone call STEVE Smith Steven one more time I'm going to scream. And I don't think I've heard Kemo's name pronounced the same all season. These guys make a ton of money and should be better at speaking. Emmitt Smith is horrible too. I prefer Troy Aikman and Chris Simms (I know they aren't together). And don't get me started on Andrea Kremer...how the hell is she doing Sunday night football????

They were horrible. I know they cover AFC mostly, but come on! Too many foul ups on last names. And calling Smith "little man" was bad.

Who really gives a sh*t about whether the announcers say the names right Downtown Bully. Does it really matter?...

Yes it matters. They are announcers on tv for God's sake. Can they not bother to learn the correct pronunciation of a name? It's disrespectful to just butcher someone's name. Shows that you don't prepare for your job well.

Does it change the outcome of the game? That's the only thing I care about...

I could give a sh*t about the names. If they can get down and distance right (seems to be a bigger task that you'd think) and can stay relevant to the game, I'm generally happy.

Billick couldn't get our names right for anything, but I'll say he's one of the best we've had this year.

No but if you are like me and you really only watch the Panthers most of the time and they butcher somebody's name you can't figure out who they are talking about. There have been times I've had to ask my husband who they are talking about and even he had a hard time figuring it out. I know some of those guys have weird names but if you are going to be paid to announce, take the time to learn their names.

If all you watch are Panther games, then you should know by their numbers what their names are, period.

      The point is there is a difference between analyst saying he is the consensus no.1 and scouts/GMs saying it. If you are saying the substance is a bunch of talking heads on ESPN saying then that doesnt mean anything. There was literally numerous sources saying we were taking Stroud around the combine and mock draft creators, even Vegas had him as the favorite for a while. It changed later on, what part of that screams consensus? We know why it changed...the substance is irrelevant. Bryce supporters constantly bringing this up while he has shown nothing so far outside of heading to bust territory just comes off like giant Cope. Bryce had multiple red flags, there is no way all the teams had him as the best QB. He didnt even give any other teams the time of day outside of panthers and texans which makes it even more unclear they would all have him number 1.  Thats not your substance to support he was consensus no. 1. Period.
