Most of the RR supporters 2 weeks ago were people that were being optimistic about the season, not anyone really convinced he was a great coach.

I supported him, but was skeptical about this season. Now...it's a foregone conclusion.

 

However, I still see him gone after the season, not before. No way JR pays for two HCs in the same season.

What happened to all of you that said RR was a defensive genius and just didn't have the pieces to put the puzzle together the last 2 years? There was a tweet that someone from Pro Football Talk said "Ron Rivera controlled Peyton in a game years ago when he was in San Diego, and due to that, he can shut down Russell Wilson." I then said that made no sense and was bull poo and about 10 people jumped on me about how I "know nothing" and Rivera was fine. Well, where are you now? This dude should not be employed at the head coaching level in this league.

also, 2 things:

1) If you NEED elite players on D in order to stop a rookie QB who isn't very impressive and is calling pretty basic plays, I'd argue you're no "defensive mastermind"

2) I'd like to think that If this team was owned by Walter White, he would send Ron Rivera to "Belize" right about now

Threads like this are stupid.

 

Everyone and their mama knew that Rivera was on the hot seat coming into the season.  Everyone also knew that there was a possibility that things could go very wrong.  And, yet, you want to fling some crow around?
