If/when Rivera is fired in the next few weeks

Would you guys like to see a big name coach brought in to try to salvage the season (Cowher, etc) or suffer a middling season under McDermott/Shula to go after an up and comer in the offseason (Roman, college coach)? I'm not sure which I'd prefer, but it'd probably be the latter.

I think if we lose next week, it'll really show us what kind of owner JR is. Is he going to let Gettleman run this team and try to get us a competent coach or are all the haters right and he just wants to save the dough, making Rivera finish the season?

Easily let the guys who are here play out the season. Maybe see who we can keep? (Washington, Skipper, etc)

Promote Jim Skipper to HC and use the rest of the season to really do your research and get the right guy.

Honestly I couldn't care less who they let coach the year out as long as it isn't Rivera.  Whoever it is won't be the HC next season.

I don't see the point in firing Rivera now. It's not like a new coach could come in an install a new system in a week. Might as well get a high draft pick.

I think BoA they should hold a raffle and let that decide the intermim coach.

A new coaching hiring is not going to happen. It will have to be replaced by an interim coach, hopefully Skipper.

 

But Rivera needs to go now! The sooner, the longer we have to look at possible candidates.

Won't be an outside coach if it happens.  Would be someone currently on the staff, probably McD.

Jim Skipper was Fox's assistant Head Coach. He's the best interim HC candidate on the roster because fug Shula.

Pick a random fan each game and give them a game controller and madden playbook. Let them choose the O and D formations and plays. We couldn't suck any less.

Fire every coach on the staff and just let the players do what they want. I mean it is all the coaches fault so this should work out great!
