Is Jerry Richardson the worst owner in the NFL? He brought us the Boost Mobile of NFL teams

I don't think Rivera coming back was a money decision.

It wasn't a money decision, and to be honest it also wasn't a bad decision. Some of the greatest coaches of all time took 2-3 years to get in their groove and build their franchise. We were all excited before week 1. We thought the o-line was questionable, but there were a lot of people seeing a 10-6 season. Rivera could have done better this year, but he didn't. It was a good call to give him that chance. Him failing with it is unfortunate, but doesn't make it the wrong call.

Every season the Panthers have finished below 7-9 we have fired the coach except Rivers's first season.

The idea he doesn't care is false.

He cares.

But he only acts in a manner if it largely makes sense from a dollar and cents standpoint.

The Panthers being successful is more important to him than what goes down on a football field.

We have 100+ sellout streak in a row streak going.....he isn't worried about unhappy fans because they haven't impacted his business. He will just let this thing play out until he sees an impact this year

About 7 years ago it was blasphemous to speak bad on this man

It's blasphemous to not want a new owner

I can go down a list of things. A LIST

You can fire your own flesh and flood but Let Fox, Hurney and Rivera stick around cause you dont want to pay 2 coaches... Hurney contract expired. Had him working for free. Karma is real people, very real. We feel the wrath of it

It's hard for me to believe that money wasn't a factor when we know it was with Fox. And if it wasn't motivated by money thsn we're worse off than I thought because he definitely didn't deserve it based off of performance. Again, the majority of his wins have been meaningless when nothing can be gained from winning. Also, considering the amount of losses he had after having the lead in the 4th qtr through the end of last season was enough alone to not bring him back. That's not even considering HOW he lost games like that... the Atlanta game was unforgiveable. And he's done that multiple times over but, usually not as dramatic.

If JR just wanted a team he probably could have bought into one or outright bought one. He announced he wanted to bring a team to NC in 1986 and fought his butt of for ten years to bring a team here including hosting sporting events all around the Carolinas to prove to the NFL it was viable.

Decisions he has made are free game to have an opinion on, but it upsets me a bit when some are so flippant about his role in bringing this team here.

Also you can bitch about the PSL business model, but without them there likely isn't a Carolina Panthers to bitch about.
