Cam has to feel trapped on a terrible football team

urban?

get over this already

stuttering, stammering, and going off on strange tangents that aren't relative has nothing to do with any sort of ethnic slant.

You just don't know how to make an argument hat does not involve a race crutch.  It's obvious.

Then why don't you believe Eli Manning has this issue? if public speaking is such a integral part of your evaluation of someone's IQ, then how do you formulate these opinions on people you've never seen with this opportunity?

please. you've been called out for racial profiling and are backtracking more than carolina-chuck when he's proven wrong. there's no crutch here. just you and your racial stereotypes.

Cam is the easy scapegoat but we lose too many leads with him on the sideline. The only thing that pissed me off about Cam is I think he ran right off the field. EJ looked like he was looking for him to tell him good game. That's how Cam get the "jerk" rep can't defend that

you really got me there

I'll take that as your "bowing out", last ditch haymaker from your back statement

every bit as weak as the rest of your excuse making

Exposing your blatantly obvious ignorance is not "bowing out". What the hell is there to even argue with you about when you don't even think our QB should get the ball in his hands when we need a few yards to seal the victory?

Eli Manning is a mental midget who is one of the most embarrassing speakers in the league, much less quarterbacks you race-baiting moron.  Your assumptions are once again making a fool of you.  Fortunately for him he does not have quite the pocket and accuracy issues.

I have not backtracked at all.  I have repeated my OP you chimed in on on two different occasions.  There has not been one remark in any of my posts that include a racial stereotype...

unfortunately it seems that you have been conditioned to go to race as a default defense so much that you really do not look at the facts anymore, take up that trusty crutch, and feed us the status quo.

Cam cant carry a team...horribly inaccurate and terrible decisions with the ball... give him some real weapons and he'll be servicable...give him a scheme that has potential and he might be successful... godda have a back that that is better than Deangelo 'one yard' Williams...receivers bettewr than Brandon' i can't get open or catch' Lafell...or Tedd 'im washed up' Ginn....Shula should be home with his old man waiting fora  team to break the Dolphins single season win record....

And you're drawing that conclusion based on how he's play on this team? Seriously?

Let me remind you, if Cam was on the Seahawks, he would have won because it wasn't Russel's 300 plus yards that won the game for the team it was the Panthers secondary giving the Seahawks good field position and Russel getting some lucky breaks. Oh yeah, i forget the new issue with Cam. He isn't noticing every open man on the field the same way you can from your couch. SMDH

Also, if Cam was on the Bills and played the Panthers, he would have won, because the Bills QB has very similiar final numbers to Cam.

Everytime I read comments like this, I wonder how much Luck father played a role in encouraging his son to stay in school back in 2011. This team has been above .500 since 2008. I guess that's Cam the other folks you're blaming fault too, right?

Cam is certainly not the the issue here. As a coach and a offensive coordinator, you have to build confidence in your QB. Coming out gun-slinging in the first half and expect him to hit consistent deep balls is ridiculous. The offense must have a rhythm, you allow your quarterback to miss these throws and rock his boat. In addition, you don't establish a running game in the first half and expect the second half to be run-first. Our coaching is ELEMENTARY. The game is won before the ball is even snapped, there have to be reads and recognizing weaknesses of the opposing defence. It seems to me as if the play calls are random. There is no understanding of situational game awareness from this coaching staff. The pattern of play calling is ridiculous.

Lets look at the FINAL THREE DRIVES of the game.

3rd Quarter, 59 Seconds left on BUFFALO 16.

-Two straight wildcat plays, Cam Newton run to the left for a first down.

-Incomplete pass to Lafell, Run up the middle for no gain, Incomplete to Smith.

-FIELD GOAL

4th Quarter, 12:14 left on BUFFALO 26

-DeAngelo run up the middle, Incomplete to Lafell, 12 yard first down to Olsen.

-DeAngelo run up the middle, DeAngelo run to the left tackle, SACK,

-FIELD GOAL

4th Quarter, 7:13 left on CAROLINA 20

-15 Yard Strike to Olsen

-10 STRAIGHT RUN PLAYS TO BUFFALO 21.

-FOURTH AND ONE AND WE KICK A FIELD GOAL

15 RUN PLAYS TO 4 PASSING PLAYS

5 Plays in which Cam Newton is responsible for the ball.

Giving the ball on 3rd and four to a "tuck it and don't fumble" running back.

OUR COACHING STAFF HAS NO IDEA ABOUT PLAY PATTERNS AND SETTING UP DEFENCES. Elementary play calling, poor play calling situations and lack of awareness shows that this coaching staff is blind and have no clear identity or idea what playing football is about.

This is where you tell them that you're an afro-american and end the debate.

the smart play with a lead late in the sport of professional football is to punt and play D.

Your QB having a terrible day reinforces that decision.

This is/was/will always be the case.

You act like I'm the one dealing in uncharted territory here when you are so far off the reservation you don't even deserve a response.  You should be thankful I'm here to help you out.  Just cuz you keep saying he should have sent Cam out there with another bullshit play on 4th down does not make it so.  It never will be so.  It's merely a different path that your fragile psyche believes may have awarded you with a different outcome.  It's a neat wish or dream or whatever but its just not reality.  There is no guarantee.  I guess I admire your "go down fighting" approach but as for now, I'm glad Riv, fired or not, is not that stupid.  its one thing to get blown out and lose.  Its quite another to look foolish.  I have not heard anyone saying Riv should have "gone for it"  Hint:  We probably won't.

keep poundin' kid

Please explain to me how he can succeed when his head coach doesn't put the ball in his hands to seal the win.

He can't win sitting on the sideline.

He had the ball in his hands and could not get it done. That is why we had to settle for two late FG's. a franchise QB has to concert one of those and put the game away. He didn't.

Then you'll be getting the exact same thing, because Manziel is Cam.  Lol at you going at Cam, talking about sheer luck and athletic ability, when Manziel gets by on that as well.

manziel is well liked and a good leader. I get the impression people in the locker room dont really like cam. I mean cmon.. you have to "ask" to be captain.. if it wont for the bitch move whining to the press  he wouldnt of been voted captain.

    • The other draft picks have turned out pretty well. Brooks will too.
    • I'm still not touching Hunter He again said the other day that he plans on playing both sides of the ball in the NFL.  If he is allowed to do that, he won't be as good on either side as his potential and he's going to have serious injury issues and have a short career.  If he's not allowed to do it, I think he's going to become a problem when the team isn't winning as he's going to feel him not being used on both sides of the ball is why. He's being coddled in that environment with Deion and I think it's doing a disservice to him to prepare him for life in the NFL where your coach isn't a 2nd father to you, to where you can just walk into his locker room and steal his shoes like Hunter does to Deion.
    • He’s a tad behind them. Around 15ish of 32 starters in the league. He’s well ahead of a lot of guys. Tua, Bryce, Cousins (present), Rodgers (current), Devito/Jones, Minshew, Russ (current), Watson, Smith, Carr, T Laws deep ball is weak as poo IMO, there’s plenty. And it’s not like everyone is ripping 60+ers. The key component is if you can rip and maintain velocity of the 30-40 yarders which he does super well. Legit every report out there from Brugler to PFF to PFN document him as good/above average arm strength.  Eye test tells me it’s pretty much that as well, slightly above average.
