Cam has to feel trapped on a terrible football team

the maturity bit was sarcasm.  he has had PLENTY of time

not surprised you missed it

After watching my QB today, his effectiveness, the opposing Defense getting stronger and stronger and even having to bench a first overall pick (captain to boot)  for the wildcat, yes.  I play the odds.  Any conservative coach would.  That is what Riv is.

rephrased.. If I was Riv I would have zero faith in my QB when it counted.  If he fails to get it done (Atlanta??) every pundit in the biz crucifies Riv for the call, not Cam for blowing it.

Well maybe Ron needs to have more faith in his QB, and less(0 faith) in his defense.  His defense has failed him time and time again...ATL, CHI, Buff, TB, etc

Andrew Luck's choice to stay in school an extra year may be the smartest thing college ever taught him

All college season I told people this guy was the man and Carolina was going to take him and we would be set at quarterback for years. Some times I sit and think what we would look like with Harbaugh and Luck.

I'm just going to assume you're trolling now.

Name me a QB who can win from the sideline after the head coach takes the ball out of his hands. I'll wait.

all QB's spend time on the sideline.

all QB's who play like Cam did today spend time on the sideline

most spend more time.  the guy was terrible and play calling has nothing to do with his slow decision-making, horrible inaccuracy issues, and stare down problems.  He's a liability.

Sure he's great at times.  Maybe even most of the time.  But you never know what you are going to get with him and anyone who is inconsistent and plays at the highest level of competition is unfortunately a liability.

Bring in whatever coach you want to.  The guy is not showing us that he is bright enough and/or mentally tough enough to be a starter in this league.

Our offense has failed plenty of times too

You're correct.  Our offense has failed at times, as well. Those 2 turnovers that they created, should've amounted to atleast one TD; instead of 2 FG's.  Cam played horrible the first quarter and a half, and I would say for the rest of the game the offense went through some bad play calling.  But with all the resources going towards the defense the past few years, and really no weapons given to Cam and the offense, the defense has to make that stop at the end of the game.  They have to.

Cam talks too urban for carolinarolls and is therefore not smart enough to play the position.

urban?

get over this already

stuttering, stammering, and going off on strange tangents that aren't relative has nothing to do with any sort of ethnic slant.

You just don't know how to make an argument hat does not involve a race crutch.  It's obvious.

You should probably just log out for today. You're getting more and more absurd and ignorant with each post.

FYI, Cam walked away from both games with almost identical stats to both the QBs he playedso far, expect for Russel's over inflated yardages, these last two games but the team still lost. Yeah, blaming everything lost on Cam is like convincing yourself that you don't have a drinking problem while sitting in a bar stone drunk.

It's getting real sad and pathetic to watch fans put an entire team and it's mental issues on the the back of a young QB and expect him to take them to the promise land every week. What's even more sad is listening to these Sports Experts try to make Cam one of the scape-goats for this team by picking every pimple off of his butt, but turn around and demanding the players from other teams to do more in helping the more chosen QBs  to success for their team.

It's clear those in the media want to see Cam fail in the NFL simply to satisfy their over-sized egos, and it's even more clear they really don't give a rats behind about the Panthers so will say whatever they know the fans want to hear.

yeah

except for stats don't win games

they don't win anything for that matter

We criticize Cam for no 4th quarter comebacks and clutch plays but yet he stands on the sidelines every game while opposing teams comeback and beat us. Coaching staffs takes the game away from him in majority of these losses. We might not ever know if Cam can be that guy to bounce back in a game and will us to victory when he plays bad becuz of the coaching staff. But i do know when we eventually lose its real easy to blame him for his mistakes. There is no trust, you cant even call this playing not to lose anymore, its worse. I still believe in Cam to bad we have a cowardly coaching staff.

Damn that Cam for not calling better plays on 3 drives inside the bills 25. What was he thinking?

Cam should have taken the shitty, non-imaginative play calling and made "twinkle toes" magic out of it. The OC was poo (commonly acknowledged), but Cam should have overcame that and the problems of the O line and WR, all by his lonesome, All game long!

Cam had a rough day. Mistakes happen to ALL QB'S. He also threw 2 fuging touchdown passes! You fuging morons are actually blaming the kid for not scoring on drives in the red zone, where the OC called two RB dives and then third down passes, that were no where near the end zone. Out of those three red zone drives, we took one shot...one play, to the end zone. That play to Lafell. With the HC and the OC, being amongst the leagues worst, you all actually seek out Cam to whine over. Is it possible that having crap for coaches slows the kids development in certain areas? Nahhh... let's just bitch without any type of fuging perspective.
