Cam has to feel trapped on a terrible football team

lmao

the agenda is to get a QB who can win a game. You see it your way and think he is great. I don't. I have at times seen the flashes but I cannot blame the coaches on all these close losses when I see him playing so inconsistently.

I'm just going to assume you're trolling now.

Name me a QB who can win from the sideline after the head coach takes the ball out of his hands. I'll wait.

Cam cant carry a team...horribly inaccurate and terrible decisions with the ball... give him some real weapons and he'll be servicable...give him a scheme that has potential and he might be successful... godda have a back that that is better than Deangelo 'one yard' Williams...receivers bettewr than Brandon' i can't get open or catch' Lafell...or Tedd 'im washed up' Ginn....Shula should be home with his old man waiting fora  team to break the Dolphins single season win record....

FYI, Cam walked away from both games with almost identical stats to both the QBs he playedso far, expect for Russel's over inflated yardages, these last two games but the team still lost. Yeah, blaming everything lost on Cam is like convincing yourself that you don't have a drinking problem while sitting in a bar stone drunk.

It's getting real sad and pathetic to watch fans put an entire team and it's mental issues on the the back of a young QB and expect him to take them to the promise land every week. What's even more sad is listening to these Sports Experts try to make Cam one of the scape-goats for this team by picking every pimple off of his butt, but turn around and demanding the players from other teams to do more in helping the more chosen QBs  to success for their team.

It's clear those in the media want to see Cam fail in the NFL simply to satisfy their over-sized egos, and it's even more clear they really don't give a rats behind about the Panthers so will say whatever they know the fans want to hear.

Cam had a helter skelter game. But the bigger problem was what we were doing on offense.

Chucking the ball down field relentlessly is going to lead to a bad completion percentage and more sacks.

You don't have to be a dink and dunk offense, but it is okay to run some quicker plays and incorporate some easier throws to help get him in a rhythm

Wait what.

So you're okay with not going for it on fourth down and kicking a field goal and giving it back to Buffalo only up six for our defense with a depleted secondary who gave up 436 yards on the day to win us the game?

Maturity? Seriously? That tells me all that I need to know about who I'm conversing with. Like talking to a wall.

the maturity bit was sarcasm.  he has had PLENTY of time

not surprised you missed it

After watching my QB today, his effectiveness, the opposing Defense getting stronger and stronger and even having to bench a first overall pick (captain to boot)  for the wildcat, yes.  I play the odds.  Any conservative coach would.  That is what Riv is.

rephrased.. If I was Riv I would have zero faith in my QB when it counted.  If he fails to get it done (Atlanta??) every pundit in the biz crucifies Riv for the call, not Cam for blowing it.

When I said I wanted more aggressiveness, I didn't mean what we saw.  I wanted up tempo, quick throws... kinda like what we saw on our two minute drill. =|

Can we stop acting like our defense is that great?

Our front seven may be good.  We may have the best MLB in the game.  But our defense as a whole is not great.  It may not even be that good.

This is the biggest thing right here.  Our defense isn't that good, and won't be good until we get that secondary of ours patched up.  Rivera's biggest problem is he puts too much trust in a defense that shouldn't be trusted at the end of the game.  He should've went for it with Cam on that 4th down.

2-14 in games decided by 7 points. How many of those loses are on Cam being "inaccurate" and Rivera being an inept coach?

i know the stat

you really want me to pick a number?

fact is if all the plays were called how you would have liked them to be called Cam still has a proven execution problem.

that means that there is every possibility that the results change very little if any.

He should have done this plenty of times and he still doesnt get it. Thats why he needs to go

    • I'm still not touching Hunter He again said the other day that he plans on playing both sides of the ball in the NFL.  If he is allowed to do that, he won't be as good on either side as his potential and he's going to have serious injury issues and have a short career.  If he's not allowed to do it, I think he's going to become a problem when the team isn't winning as he's going to feel him not being used on both sides of the ball is why. He's being coddled in that environment with Deion and I think it's doing a disservice to him to prepare him for life in the NFL where your coach isn't a 2nd father to you, to where you can just walk into his locker room and steal his shoes like Hunter does to Deion.
    • He’s a tad behind them. Around 15ish of 32 starters in the league. He’s well ahead of a lot of guys. Tua, Bryce, Cousins (present), Rodgers (current), Devito/Jones, Minshew, Russ (current), Watson, Smith, Carr, T Laws deep ball is weak as poo IMO, there’s plenty. And it’s not like everyone is ripping 60+ers. The key component is if you can rip and maintain velocity of the 30-40 yarders which he does super well. Legit every report out there from Brugler to PFF to PFN document him as good/above average arm strength.  Eye test tells me it’s pretty much that as well, slightly above average.
    • 6-10 carries for  35-45 yds and 3-5 catches for 15-25 would be great.
