No Cam has had some opportunities too that haven't worked out. Just like Luck today. The point is that for whatever reason Luck's defense has been able to hold the leads they have gotten and Cam's hasn't. Those leads meant losses.

If they had like kind support Cam's record and fourth quarter comebacks would look a lot different

I see dude even tried to throw the "Cam Hugger" claim out there.  It's funny, because the people he's laying that claim to were on here before Cam; myself included.

Cam is a QB with a lot of great qualities and he's a QB you can build a franchise around but he's not without his problems.  There's a lot of great things that Cam does.  

 

Consistent accuracy is not one of them.  Sometimes he's throws the ball on a rope.  Other times, it's 10 feet over a wide receivers head that is wide open.  It keeps happening.  

 

I also think that Cam is trying too hard to do what the coaches are asking him to do.  This goes along with his maturity curve.  He needs to step up and take control of this team and start having more say in running that offense.  He always says he lets the coaches call the plays and he just runs them.  He can't just be a cog in the machine.  He has to run that machine.  

 

Cam always seems reactive instead of active.  This is why he gets so good in the hurry up and gets a rhythm going.  His instincts and natural ability take over and he doesn't have time to outthink himself.   

 

There are guys who just do what the teacher says no matter what they say and then there are people who only do it because they agree it's the best course of action.  Cam needs to becomes the latter.  Quit waiting from a coach or whomever to put a suggestion in the suggestion box.  Solve the problem yourself.

1-4 when he came in. 4-12 the previous season. And by your logic this means unsigned The Golden Calf of Bristol is better than Cam Newton. Get some sleep, son.
