I'm not waiting for next year anymore. I'm still a diehard Panther fan, but I'm not wasting precious time with my family on Sundays again.

After the first half today I turned up the TV and opened the living room windows to listen to the game, while my girls helped me wash the cars. I'm glad I did. We had a blast.

Been around since Dad and I drove down to Clemson in 95 (fuging hate that that is where we got our start, but that is probably a post for another forum).  Been to every home game since their induction into the league but honestly for the first time since they came around I am considering giving my tickets to friends.  If it weren't for quality time with my brother and Dad, my ass would be at home watching from the comfort of my couch.

It's reverse psychology. I know he cares but he's not gonna say that outright, especially since calling someone a bandwagoner or fairweather is like the worst thing ever to people and effective in empowering the TRUFANS.

 

There's a point where the law of diminishing returns kicks in. After a while I get it. I know what a pathetic franchise looks like. Winning the SB now will be just as exciting for trufans as it will be for the people that only started watching when we were winning. There's no reward in supporting them until they look like they've turned their poo around.

remember also zod has always played the part of contrarian to the point of contradicting many of his own emphatic statements

 

anyway i don't disagree, the nature of our problems seem to matriculate through the ranks from the guy pulling the strings at the top. i won't stop watching panthers games on sundays because i love our players, the brand, and the sport of football too much, but that'll be the extent of my support until a change is made.

 

maybe if fans stop filling the stands jerry will finally get the message. that's a sacrifice i'm willing to make.
