There were a lot of questionable decisions. Running Dwill up the middle for -1 to 2 yards constantly (when tolbert was getting 3-6 yards). Going 'oh we should run some screens to deal with this pressure' then calling like 8 screens in a row. Deciding we need to take more shots deep, so you take shots deep with immense pressure in your face but don't deal with it. Giving Byron Bell no help. Dude is poo in pass blocking against legit DEs. You can get away with Byron Bell vs Ray Edwards, but Mario Williams almost broke a single season sack record with Houston. that poo aint gonna fly.

It just reeks of sticking to a gameplan that isn't gonna work and having nothing to compensate for it when it fell apart.

I am done.  They wanted to start fast, said it, needed it and here they are at 0-2... AGAIN.

That run play on 3rd and 5 was a killer for me.  You get the first down, and game is over.  Instead we have to suffer for another team just shoving it down our throats to win.

FIRE RIVERA.. it wont happen and like an ass I will be there next Sunday thinking this team can win.  I cant believe we sit here and another season is lost again, already, in week 2.

Luke PI......who could have predicted that as the game changer.

I am stunned.

My feeling,  'you play to win the game'.

When the game at the pro level is not played that way it is almost impossible to be mistake free.

It's easy to say one play changed the game, no, in this case, a philosophy changed the game.

This team has not 3 offensive plays it can make definitively.

It does not know what it is, at all.

This coaching staff took the QB and neutered him...think about it, for 2 years an offensive juggernaunt and now he can't complete a pass.

Come on Rivera and Shula, give them credit for that effort.  They managed to do what could not be done for 2 years in the pros and in his senior year at Auburn.

Newton as I said in another thread is part of the problem yes but he sure as hell isn't getting any help in play calling.

He also isn't getting any help by being coddled either.  Its year 3.  Time to grow up and make the right reads and/or throw the ball away.

That's how I feel.
