I smoked wings drumsticks sausages and ribs. . hickory with a hint of apple wood. Not baby backs, big boys.

 

Today I feast.

Made a great gravy from scratch last night.    Plenty of Pork, Peppers, and Onions in there all in the fridge overnight.  Gravy is always better the second day.  SO glad I planned ahead. 

 

Gonna have perfect pasta this afternoon.  Its not game day food but I had a craving and the house is empty today so no big production like last week.  

 

Great bottle of red.  Maybe even dust off the Gentleman Jack for the first victory of 2013.

On the grill smoking 6 jumbo turkey legs right now with hickory wood chips. Injected them with coke cola and butter. And seasoned with salt and pepper. Then finished with a small coat of hickory BBQ sauce. Now its just a just a sit and wait thing. Plan on taking it off the grill at 1 o'clock just in time for the game.

I only use a rub made out of garlic, onion, canjun, chili powder, jalapeno, cinnamon, and tumeric.

Not this time just store bought I didn't have time or felt like making it. As I was in a hurry so I can get a good 3 and a half hours of smoking it
