Both delicious for sure. Asheville and even Charlotte now have some hidden gems that I would bet haven't made their way out there yet.

I heard Ashville is a boomtown microbrew as of recent. Name me some breweries and I'll try to tack em down.

Oh I love Charlotte and North Carolina. Only been to SC once, but it was kinda alright. Charlotte is easily my first choice if I ever move again. Nice people, great town. Buffalo would be #1,067 on my list. Just behind Bakersfield.

I visited Buffalo a few years ago.  Not a bad place for 3-4 months a year.  The rest of the time, no way in hell.  I hate cold weather. 

 

If I were going to live in California, it would have to be somewhere in Northern California.  Southern California is all brown (and by that I mean the land, ie relatively few trees and grass).

Highland is awesome.  New Belgium and Sierra Nevada are building plants there.  Then you have more smaller local breweries like The Wedge, Asheville Pizza and many others.

 

You live in Cali, Lagunitas is one of my top 3 favorites
