Cams Attitude

Just curious...what has Brady specifically done that makes him such an a$$hole?

Is it is Superbowl rings?

Is Supermodel wife?

Is millions and millions of dollars?

Is it his mansion with a moat?

Whenever I come across someone who hates Brady for being such a d*ck and and a$$hole and I asked them specifically why, the answer usually is "He just is" when in reality, it's the things listed above.

New England game week should be fun around here if we have a winning record. Brady the ass versus Cam the manic depressed.(depends on whose board your on)

people shouldn't compare brady to cam.

kinda retarded.

but Brady gets a pass from me because he does win.

Cam hasn't done half the poo that Brady does on a regular basis so I don't feel the need to give him "a pass" because he rarely freaks out or starts screaming and whining on the field (I've never actually seen him do it that I can remember).  Meh.

Cam's attitude is one where he gets almost physically ill when he loses and expects everyone else to hold themselves to that same standard.

But the good news is that the Panthers have made good strides into making him a a guy that accepts losing as the norm, which is what everyone else calls "maturity".

Trololololo

Oh how quickly you forget or just want to ignore but remember this from the ever beloved Steve Smith going to the media and starting adding fuel to the fire?

http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/steve-smith-rips-cam-newton-loss-giants-quarterback-180025405--nfl.html

"I watched D.A. and Jimmy, they don't play in 20-something games last year," Smith told Joseph Person of the Charlotte Observer, adding that he used some "unchoice words" in the process. "And they get up and they observe and learn and get those mental reps. I told [Newton], 'You can get some mental reps or you can sit on that bench and sulk.'"

And than this from Kalil and Gross:

This isn't the first time Newton's teammates have taken issue with his demeanor when things go wrong. Last December, he was told by Panthers offensive linemen Jordan Gross and Ryan Kalil that he needed to keep his head up when situations aren't perfect.

"They always get on me — I have a bad tendency of showing my emotions on my face. I have to change it, and I'm trying to change it. But those guys constantly stay in my ear, saying, 'You've got to be that same leader from the first quarter to the last quarter' ... It made me mindful it can be somewhat of a detrimental conduct to the team. If you're mad. If you're ticked off. Not saying that everybody else is not feeling the same way you [are]. But at the quarterback position, you have to stay even-keeled

To compare Cam's attitude the last couple years to a fiery Tom Brady, Steve Smith, Big Ben, etc isn't even the same topic.

Considering Cam himself has been very vocal this year about wanting to change the way he had been reacting to tough situations it is blind homerism to think that he didn't have some maturing to do. I'll give him this, I really think he has turned the corner this year and put all that behind him and people will see that but to say his attitude has always been fine when he and his teammates acknowledge it has been an issue is just sticking your head in the sand.

The man hates losing more than I do, and I despise it.

Some of u r so full of ish it's not funny anymore. It's no wonder those in the media take pleasure in saying any dumb ish about Cam. They have an audience right on this site.

If u're so open to believe every ridiculous ish the media spew about Cam, how do u expect others to respect this team. Oh yeah u don't give a fug about Cam, u just want him to help ur team win a ring. Keep dreaming.

How was Brady cheating?

And yes we even create a double standard here. 89 simply is given a pass or his poo is spun....when others would be blasted for it by the collective fanbase.

We're not talking about fanbases, of course fans stick up for their players.  We're talking about the media.

he was spraying some poo on his hands so that he could grip the ball!!!! It was raining pretty hard. They got it on camera and the announcers just laughed it off!!!

B/S any adhesive, in particular spray adhesive is expressly against the rules!!

It was "stickum", not sure if its illegal for QBs though.

Eta: Nope, its banned.

Are you sure it was stickum?

The announcers didn't laugh it off. They said he was spraying it on his hands to reduce swelling. I was somewhat confused by what they were talking about and as to what sort of spray he could be using to reduce swelling.
