Its quiet.... too quiet

I'm so sick of getting hyped up for games only to be let down by this team because we can never find the right coaching. Fox numbed me. Rivera gave me false hope. Now I'm  not that enthusiastic. I want good coaching that doesn't play favorites, knows how to fix holes, and knows how to utilize our guys strengths. Until that happens, I can't psych myself up.

I'm just wary for the rest of the season now that I know how many stupid and apathetic players we have on our team. A lot. RR said it would be fine if it was just one guy. We could just cut him and problem solved. Well we all know at this point that we have more than one, and it doesn't take a crystal ball to realize that they're going to screw up all season. As soon as we play a good team in a crucial game, they'll show up and make stupid soul crushing mistakes to seal a loss. They'll do it all season, and then some of them will be cut at the end of the season. It sucks.

The good news is that we can probably beat the Bills, and when game time rolls around I'll be over the Seattle loss.

What? Stupid and apathetic? What does that even mean?

this isn't the lowest point of the franchise if we lose, but it'll be the lowest point in comparison to my expectations. disappointment is measured by the gulf between expectations and reality.

What are you expecting? Because in 2008, at 12-4 and undefeated at home, I was definitely expecting us to throttle the Cardinals. Now? I'm not expecting anything great.

I guess we are expecting our first and only FRANCHISE, revolutionary talented qb to finally have a winning season. Another year without that, would be crippling to this franchise.

And i don't mean that as in it's all on him. We are one of the most talented teams in the NFL, but obviously doesn't translate into wins.

I need to see wins, however they come.  Either the coaches get this team ready to play and get their heads out of their ass, or it's just another same 'ole high expectations with basement dwelling emotions of rage that just leads to exhaustion.

This is the year of no excuses.  I'll wait to see how this season unfolds but all this rah-rah poo is about to end if it doesn't go well.

Right now, I think it's obvious more people than not are hard pressed to wait and see.  There isn't really much to talk about otherwise.  Aside from news and what we actually see on Sundays.

This fanbase is so desperate to cheer for a truly successful team.  Not some fabricated optimism that only speaks to fools.
