Its quiet.... too quiet

The next two games will be very important.

After NYG, we have our bye.

Coming out of the bye we have four very winnable games (@ARI, @MIN, STL, @TB).

If we can beat BUF and NYG, we will have plenty of momentum to win those four games to put us at 6-1, before we come up to the toughest stretch of the season (ATL, @SF, NE).

Even if we lose to the Giants but beat BUF, we would still be at 5-2 if we win all 4 of those post bye games.

All this to say, we need to at least win this game up in BUF.  I just realized how big of a game it is just typing all this out.

Yep.

If we are 2-1 into out bye... I like our shot at a post season.

If we are 0-3 ... its time to start scouting head coaches. (I suspect Gettleman already has)

Have you noticed there is an overall lack of interest or enthusiasm in this game? Seems like this is the least anticipated game since 2010, and it really should not be. Even the opposing fans are quiet. Its difficult digging anything up on their end.

So here is the question... lets say the Panthers do win Sunday in convincing fashion. Is that enough to energize the crowd at BoA or will it be NY South?

Just make on notice thread and get everyone pumped up(really need to bring it this time).

If you need inspiration for it, look no further than here.

Getting no respect from the pundits:

The Panthers defense did its part last week in Charlotte against the talented Seahawks, but -- and stop us if you've heard this one before -- the offense dropped the ball. Literally in the case of that killer DeAngelo Williams fumble when victory was in sight. Carolina should play wide-open and desperate in this game, but something tells me it won't. I'm giving the Bills the nod based on their almost-upset of the Patriots in Week 1, and their own need to avoid an 0-2 start at home.

Bills 23, Panthers 16

Bills get a nod because of their almost upset of an overrated Pats team, but Panthers get no such consideration vs a SB contender. I'm really hoping we lay the wood on the Bills - I hope we can shut them out.

if we lose i can honestly say it will be my lowest point as a panthers fan.

yea, everything around the franchise including the fans, players, media..it's all kind of been snowballing into this feeling of dread.

It's kind of hard to watch the games now really. Every play that doesn't go our way I'm thinking, "Will that be the play that costs us the game?".  It's like a loss now isn't a normal loss.  It's like you can just feel every Panther fans depression and crushed hopes all together.

As we always say, hopefully this is the week it gets better.

I think everyone is preparing themselves for more of the same.  Losing close games, over and over, yet having the talent to be a playoff team.   Last week's loss was a heart-breaker.  If we lose to the Bills kiss the fans goodbye.  We HAVE to go into the bye 2-1 with back to back wins to keep a lot of fans excited.

I really am surprised that people are picking the Bills though.  We "should" have beat Seattle, some peoples' super bowl picks.  Yet since the Bills almost beat a Patriots team that probably has less talent than years past they get the nod?

pretty much. we deserved that reputation. if the panthers want to shake that rep, they have to win games....and not wait half the season to do it.
