If the math holds true, the same size beer costs ~ $17.50 in Detroit.

Most beers in BOA are 16 oz which equates to $4.32 a beer. This is far off from the actual price of $7.50. This prices are just wrong.

Or you can do what I do. Show up at 8am, drink beer like a fish, cook some food, then go into the game. I don't buy poo in the stadium unless I have my wife or kid with me or if I'm really drunk from tailgating and need sober up food.

this is generally what i do... with the exception of last year's giants game on TNF. i bought into the hype after the saints game, sprung for great seats, bought a bunch of food, bought a bunch of beer, absolutely splurged, and then went home with a raging migraine and an upset stomach (probably from the nachos and our goddamn inept-ass offensive coordinator and the inability of our defense to adjust and stop the giants and joe buttfuging adams fumbling on the 2nd half kickoff.)

 

it'll be a while before i splurge on a panthers game again.

Having been to multiple other stadiums I can report that this is an inaccurate report. On the contrary I believe we have the most expensive food/alcohol prices in the league for the most part.
