he had his big toenail removed. it's going to take a couple weeks to put a lot of pressure on it. after that he'll be fine.

i'm still trying to understand how, even after newton himself said he decided not to take shots downfield, people still insist shula is at fault.

Lol its real simple, they have a built in excuse for everything.

THE PLAYERS SAY IT and they say "well duhhhh! The players arent gunna throw their coaches under the bus!"

Not saying they did not run deep routes....jsut that Newton did not let it fly deep at all during the game.

 

That was the surprising part...he has always taken shots down the field

Cmon now we just had multiple threads saying it was Shula's fault because they didn't call any deep routes and he was too conservative.  Just because Smith, Newton and Olsen said they called deep routes and Cam didn't throw them doesn't mean it isn't Shula fault............... As i said yesterday, Cam didn't trust the o line or the receivers to get open against Seattle's secondary.  This week I think he throws it downfield.
