Township used to own.  They own Lebowski's or used to at least.  Good there, as well.  Taste of Buffalo is pretty good up your way.

The people I worked with from Buffalo says these are the best. I haven't been there in years but they were always damn good.

Has to be D.D. Peckers. I haven't lived in Charlotte for 5 years now, but every time I go to a game... I swing by there and grab some wings on the way home.

 

Wing Wings Cafe = Generic wing taste you can get in the frozen foods section.

Jim n nicks hands down...wings are smoked and you can taste the smokey wood favor in the wings....its amazing. in a close second is Wing King Cafe...this place is a complete dive but their wings are great and cheap, go with the king sampler you get 25 wings for 19 dollars. the medium flavor and mesquite are the best

Corner Pocket in Albemarle - I'm scared I may catch a disease just from sitting on one of thier bar stools but that don't stop me from eating their wings for some reason.

 

Fun Fact - The Anchor Bar where the Buffalo Wing was supposedly invented serves over 1 ton (that's over 2,000 lbs. for the mathematically challenged) of chicken wings a day...and that is without Panthro being a local resident.
