    • Doesn't matter, as long as they win.

I think we are confused fan base. Do we want points or wins? Against Seattle, we could have won by 2pts with total score of 14pts. Of course we lost (though we were not going to go 16-0 anyways and we lost to probably one of those we thought we would lose against) and that came with the usual meltdown.

Anything to win, even if its a safety in a game with a total score of 2pts for us.

I'm more concered with the W, of course. However, we need to score points. We won't be able to beat Falcons, Saints, 49ers, Pats, etc with 2 points. We just need to take the opportunities we have and put points on the board.

I want to see 2 Cam throwing touchdowns, one Cam rushing touchdown, and one of Tolbert punching it in from the 2 yard line to finish a long drive. If I see those things in the game, I will be satisfied that our offense is on the right track. So 28 minimum, and then enough after that to secure a win.

Then my simple answer is yes, I have confidence in our offense. The reason why is because we've seen them perform at a high level for the last two years. Unless Shula is a total fug up (which is entirely possible), we should be able to generate enough points to win.

Average to good ST's, along with what I believe will be a top 10 defense, should give us the balance in all 3 phases to be a decent team. If not, then I'll go back to calling for Rivera's head and questioning his sanity in hiring Shula as OC.

I guess I just think Shula may be a total fugup based on what we've seen so far, but I'm hoping I'm wrong.  I think that may be the case, but he seemed to have a very conservative game plan and I hope that was just because of who we were playing (and I can understand that).

I just don't have confidence in the offense at all right now and merely squeeking by with a win versus Buffalo with a small number of points won't instill confidence in the offense for me.  But we clearly just disagree, which is fine. :)

Hopefully I'm wrong, I'd love to be.  I want this team to do well, I'm just tired of excuses and it feels like we get them after every loss to a good team
