Peyton is all time Great and Gabbert is all time bad.

You can't tell me you can't win with Cam. The guy won a national Championship on a team with no future NFl stars outside of himself.

Ron is a damn good defensive coordinator and that's all he will ever be. He doesn't know how to be a head coach he's admitted it himself. Why we employed him is beyond me.

Nick Fairly is pretty good for the Lions and was a beast in that Game you are referencing...

It always comes back to this for us no matter who's coaching. This has got to be JR's directive. This is the type of team he wants.

it seems that way. i hope to god it's just residual philosophy that trickled down from jerry to hurney and on down the ranks that'll disappear as gettleman makes actual professional football decisions.

If you ask me, this season we are becoming a fierce defensive team. You can see it on game day and the pundits can see it. It is a reflection of our head coach. Cam is exciting to watch and like most football fans, enjoy offense more than defense but now you can see the way the team is set up. A defensive minded coach trusts his defense to win him the games rather than the offense hence punting on 4th and short. Ron just needs to balance it a little and we'll be fine.

Internally, I think the players love playing at CAR. Players are comfortable with the HC and the owner who were former players and I think somewhere they got a bit lax. It's a good thing we now have G-man who does not seem to "care" too much and makes it strictly business.

. This x100. Gettleman is giving Ron and staff a fair shot at winning, that being said, a new GM is gonna want to bring his own guy in sooner rather than later. Perry Fewell is a guy that comes to mind.

my in-laws who are lifelong Giants fans think Perry Fewell is garbage... I trust their opinion. Plus I've seen the Giants defense get torched a fair amount of times during the Fewell era. Not the guy to lead us anywhere. If you want Fewell just stay the course with Sheep Rivera. At least Rivera knows the roster. Fewell will never be a HC in the NFL.

I only ask for a few things here.

Move Cam out of the pocket more. Especially on 3rd and short.

Take smart shots down field. If anything if we are at least at our 40 go deep away from the top DB.

Cash in on screens more.

Don't be afraid to go no huddle after a long play for yardage. Get the other team on their heels. Make them adjust or get tired or burn a time out.

Understand the impact of solid special teams.

perpetually underachieving always "on the cusp of greatness" but can never quite get there small market everyone thinks we're offbeat football club whose fanbase is mostly composed of misfit fans that overrate the product on the field, no matter how bad we fug up or how amateur we really are. kinda reminds me of...
