3rd and 2 ... Handoff to Deangelo....

I'm gonna wait till this week to crucify him. He's not a fumbler historically. Likewise, Gregory does not have feet for hands historically.

I think there were lots of people, especially backs who had rough weeks. Simply not enough live bullets before the game IMO. We knew about not having Stew. We wanted to see KB and then broke him. Training camp is a shadow of its former self. Obviously we sheltered our starter.

There was one starter who rushed 100+. Alfred Morris ? David Wilson? Ridley? Martin? All run behind decent lines and struggled.

Russell Wilson is going to beat a lot of people. We had a shot at stealing one and did not allow ourselves to capitalize. That is a sting that will echo throughout the rest of the season for the winners that are on our roster.

I'm not happy either. I thought we had a great chance and I felt terrible watching it circle the drain for half a quarter. It sucked hard. I just believe that Greg and DWill will be better off playing with that SeaHag chip on their shoulders over the next few weeks.

Perhaps,  Shula might try doing something, oh, I don't know, unexpected with the play call.

You know, a PAP, a boot, a rollout, a slant.....or god forbid, put the QB under center, do a PAP and throw a long pass...something Unitas did decades ago, in case all of this is too revolutionary for Shula.

I know this is outrageous but think of the possibilities that do not involve calling a RB's # for a OL that is questionable.

Note to Shula:   'You play to win the game'.   You don't play to a scheme your players can't run.

Deep passes against the best secondary in the NFL who is in cover looking to take it away....doesn't sound smart.

Shula played it smart. Cam executed it.....and his teammates screwed it up

Wait you don't think deangelo can bounce a run?

'Da fvck you been the last 4 years?

And PAP doesn't really work when your QB does not have the line so does not take deep drops and you have not established a running game. It just doesn't fool anyone. Jake and co. taught us that lesson over and over.

And over. And over.

I'm not real sure you have a leg to stand on here. I get it. You're mad bro. But this loss is not on Shula. It's also not on Riv. I'm not a coach apologist or anything I just really ceel uneasy when people make fools of themselves. And for the record you are not the only one acting like a fool in here. You just had one of those " matter of fact " tones I could not pass up.

Keep your chin up. This year will be better than last. We just won't go undefeated now. That's the only thing that has been proven.

Well said.  The recipe for the win was there.  The players did not play.  I love Greg Olsen but his drops were huge and shocking.

Don't know if any of you were watching when there were some designed runs for Cam.  Think he may have gotten a first down or two. You want Cam to run it every time?  Then you complain about being predictable.  I think some are haters and just want to hate.

Some veteran players made mistakes that cost us the game.  I expect them to be able to correct that.  It was one game, a heartbreaking loss, but I am still optimistic.  For those of you who chose to be miserable...have at it.

Marshall Lynch had a tough game. His backup came in, made a cutback run and picked up 22 yards. I wonder if fans in Seattle feel that he should be replaced by that player. Zod & CRA have 0 credibility when it comes to making a fair assessment of the running game. None whatsoever.

Actually...he did.

Do you remember the 3rd and 2 earlier in the game when they passed the ball? I remember the color commentator saying he didn't like the call because we had been running the ball so well.

When plays are successful, people like them. When they aren't, they don't.

Shula may end up being horrible this year. It wouldn't surprise me. But I don't understand all the piling on now when it seems to me he called a pretty good game for his first time out.

Our run game isn't going to hold up when Williams literally doesn't take a single run in the A gap.

Williams ran well. With what he did. Overall he wasn't good though...b/c he couldnt hang on to the ball. But it is still a concern....will be easier on opponents to take away if that doesn't change.

I don't think the sky is falling. Why? Bc I don't overreact to one game. I also don't think Williams and our ground attack suddenly is cured....bc of one game either.

I don't still don't think Williams will be our best option.....when Stewart, Barner and Tolbert all get healthy and the season continues.

Fred Jackson ran well too this week....doesn't mean he is what he was
