Should Ron Rivera be standing up for Cam?

I like the way people say fire Rivera who is essentially just like Cam at his position but always want to give Cam a pass. For the record, I don't get all this fire Rivera crap or the trade Newton thingy. If we have to give Cam a pass because he came on a terrible team, why should Rivera be treated any different?

The team I saw yesterday bar a few silly plays was a damn good team. Cam and Rivera will be fine.

You've never actually watched any of Rivera's press conferences, have you?

Every one.

"We had opportunities"

"We just have to execute"

"The qb missed a read"

"Guys missed assignments"

"We had some dropped balls that should have been caught"

"But the good thing is we can correct all of those things"

You think this is a one game reaction or the result of a two year circus

Saying we have to beat a Superbowl contender day 1?

Whatever the reaction, its stupid.

Mike McCarthy lost to the 49ers by 6 points.

Should Green bay fire him?

Oh I know , I know Superbowl blah blah blah.

Point being, "Any given Sunday" goes both ways.

What the fug are you talking about? Please highlight where I said fire Ron Rivera. I never said that in this thread and its not what the thread is about. I'm not even talking about the fuging Seahawks game. I'm talking about two years of head coaching with minimum accountability.

The problem is, it is NEVER  any given sunday for this team when it matters.

Quick, name one quality opponent they have upset in a game that mattered.

I'll tell you what's wrong with this team, a coach who has to watch tape to determine 'We didn't throw enough'.

Really Ron, seriously, you had to watch tape to figure that out....please, just leave, do it now.

That tells me you've read what people online have to say about them (and not even all of that). Doesn't exactly you actually watched any of them.

And if you think Rivera has never taken responsibility I can pretty much guarantee even if you watched any, you didn't listen very well.

so you speak of accountability but you don't want to fire Rivera? What do you want Jerry Richardson to do?

Come downstairs and smack him on the hand?

I mean we are all supposed to be adults here. Lets act like it & quit beating around the bush and get to it.

You think he should be fired. After a reaction to a loss 90 % of NFL fans thought would happen anyway.

Only difference is that 90% thought we'd be "steamrolled" to use the words of Mike Golic.

Sir I have a panthers app on my phone I watch every video is posted. I'm a panthers fan. If you give me some quality examples of Rivera taking blame upon himself I will gladly change my outlook. You clearly have watched and must have taken notes so your next reply should include some Rivera blame quotes that improves my outlook on the man.

I sincerely doubt you'd accept anything that doesn't fit your agenda.

This has nothing to do with the Seattle loss. Do I think he is the head coach we need? No I do not. I am also one of the few on record that has stated you can't fire him even if we start out 0-3. He's the head coach of my favorite team and I will give him every opportunity to change my opinion of him.
