I hate these seemingly over-reactive threads, but...perhaps we need to change the OC, right now.

I don't disagree...

Just pointing out Shula did better than Chud last year.

I just think collectively as a fanbase....we don't even know what kind of team we want. Our coaches played that game exactly how people begged them to all offseason. When it was over they wanted everything they claimed they didn't want.

Our gameplan IMO is how you beat Seattle. That gameplan shouldn't apply to other teams....if it does then I will join in with the complaining

no they didn't. i didn't see people calling for predictable, conservative, ball control using cam as a game manager while we avoid the long pass, but that is exactly what we got.

this is what several of us were afraid of happening with shula calling the offense. it's exactly what i was expecting and had people telling me and others that he learned from his mistakes and the fact that he had cam meant that the offense was going to be better. it wasn't.

i was also told by people that the preseason games weren't an accurate gauge of what to expect and that they were just holding things close to their chest. they weren't. the offense was just as ineffective as it was in preseason.

I understand we played a all pro secondary. With that said I want an OC that can take Cams skills and run with it. Kaep played beautifully. They have an OC who isn't afraid of what kaep is and wants to pass the ball. We definitely need better receivers and a ballsier coaching staff. That much is for certain

I know exactly what type of team I want. A high powered offense with cam using the deep threat and strong power running. With a dominate defensive front 7 and better corner and safeties. We are close to that dream but still a couple of pieces in both directions away from that. Model this team after San Fran. Great O and D

Yeah, everyone thought I was being "funny" a month ago, but I was serious as a heart attack. Now, look, people are raising holy hell, and the central question still remains.

It would have been way better to can his ass then, and you could say that it makes no difference now, but in reality there is still time to tun this thing around. I just don't think that we're doing it with Shula.

Shula definitely likes things sloow, and contains Cam a little too much. And I'm not sure if he understands how to adjust to other teams defenses within the game. I get that Cam holds the ball too long, but Shula should also see that and change his gameplan to accommodate for that. Then work to fix it in practice, rather then have Cam sit in the pocket every play and take sacks.

I'm concerned how many sacks we'll take in this upcoming game with us missing a starting OL. I hope Shula learns to adjust for this.

I think if this continues it is only going to hurt Cam worse...I think he can become a good QB, but we have to use an offense tailored for him, square peg round hole is this teams go to move. Put Cam in a hurry up or even fast paced offense with short routes and some designed runs and I think he will ball out.

Jeebus. Shula was not the problem yesterday. I wasn't 100% happy with some of the decisions but I like what we are trying to accomplish. Yes we only scored 7 points, but looking at the bigger picture I am not up in arms over our offense (yet).

The screen passes? 30 yard routes against 6 man rush?
