Well, he did say that, but he also acknowledged it is about the reads and where the ball needs to go and who is open.

 

He also said we had plays that were designed to get vertical but either the Hawks took it away, Cam scrambled, or didn't throw it.

 

There are two teams playing.  Just because we didn't get many opportunities to throw downfield had as much to do with the Hawks defense as it did our offense.
