Not every one lives close to the city where their favorite team is so they dont get the luxury of going to a live game where their favorite team plays for instance im in indiana favorite team is the panthers if I decide to go to a bears or colts game with some friends then yea im going to wear my panthers gear dont see whats wrong with that

But If its a divsion rival then off with their head

Thanks. I'll keep this in mind when 30,000 Giants fans are making noise in our stadium in two weeks and an asshole in a Steeler jersey walks by me.

Pay attention the next game. The corporate tents out front are full of people going to football game that don't give a crap who's playing, they're just there to be there. And they want to look like they know what's up by wearing a jersey. Any jersey.

It's true. Living in Colorado I went to every Broncos home game for the last three years. My company had a suite and I'd always get tickets. I'd half watch the game on the field while watching the Panthers on TV. If you offer me free tickets to an NFL game, especially in a suite, I'm going. I was at least decent enough to buy a Broncos polo to wear to those games. Now if the Panthers would ever play the Broncos out here, I'd show up in full Panthers colors. They all know I'm a huge Panthers fan.

I've been to SF and Oakland games probably a combined close to a hundred or so times in my life living in the Bay Area. If they play the Panthers, I wear Panthers gear head to toe and deal with the threats and berating associated with that. If they are playing anyone else, I wear jeans, a white tshirt, and typically one of my 35 or so

Oakland A's hats.

Point being, if the Panthers aren't playing, I remain neutral. That's just me though.

I believe if we start winning then that will help resolve that issue thats just my opinion though anyone know what the stadium was like in 08 or has it always been that way

Went to Costco Sunday. I saw a chargers, 49ers, bears, and Atlanta jerseys. This is a transplant town. You get northerners or people from other shittty cities (new Orleans, Atlanta) who "love" their team and will tell you how great their city is and how Charlotte sucks.

I'm from a shittty town in Florida. I mean a real shitt hole. Charlotte is a dream.

Wait, what is this thread about. Poo pie for me.

    • Just had Thanksgiving meal with a couple dozen family and friends. I lucked out and got one of the smoked turkey legs. Stuffing, mashed taters and gravy, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole, kale, smoked ham, chicken and rice, corn, lima beans, cranberry sauce, and great people. My brother got his guitar out and we got to singing. Lots of actual conversations with people I hardly  ever get to see, haven't seen in a while, or who I never met before. Just a great moment to remember.
    • 3-8 would be a higher win percentage than 3-9
    • Same... With the personnel the Niners had, that defense could have been historically good in the right hands. Under Wilks they were certainly good, they didn't quite rise to that level. Honestly, I see Wilks kinda like I see Rivera: fantastic person, decent head coach. Skill wise, phenomenal DB coach, so-so DC. His greatest strength is his leadership. Hard to find many better in that department. In the Xs and Os / execution area though, not as good. Bottom Line: Wilks is the sort of coach that needs a staff that excels in those aspects of the game where he's weaker. But, like Rivera, I don't know that he scouts assistants very well. That as much as anything might be why he's not in the NFL now.
