When can we blame Cam?

I am probably going to get a good amount of bashing with this post and some may even go as far as to say that I don't deserve a QB like Cam. But, my question is this:

When can we start putting the blame on Cam for holding our offense back? Putting the blame on Cam rather than on the lack of Oline, WRs, running game, and play calling? This is a serious question.

Some guys just have that clutch-ness in them, and in my honest opinion I just don't see it in Cam as of right now. We saw it in Wilson today. The man was pressured all day long and was hit on many different occasions. Wilson still managed to find the way to lead his team in a comeback victory against us in the 4th quarter.

We can defend Cam in every way possible even to the max that he's not Peyton Manning. But nor is Russell, Kaep, or RG3 a Peyton Manning. Though, these guys are able to pick apart defenses when the time is there for the taking. Other than Cam’s two first rookie games vs. Arizona and Green Bay, I have not seen Cam’s ability to pick defenses apart.

In my honest opinion, Cam's lack of clutch-ness and ability to pick apart defenses is what's holding this team back. The game is win and loss by the Quarterback. That's how you differentiate the great from the good, and the good from the bad.

You are an idiot....

Not a good time to write a post like this, after numerous key drops by Olsen, Penalties on both sides of the ball, and D'Angelo's game crushing fumble; all leading to a loss, when victory was looking so good.

I also find it ironic, that he never mentioned Cam's coaching (just like the national media doesn't), as if Cam's coaching doesn't hold back his stats and win total. SMH

I guess some people just need attention. And didn't the game end almost 7 hrs ago? What's up with that?

I'd direct you to the last 7 games of the 2012 season. Cam has a 12-3 (passing)TD:INT ratio over his last 8 starts. Those numbers aren't gonna light the world on fire but defenses clearly are not picking apart Cam.

I'm actually with the OP on this one. I'm not going to blame the entire game on Cam (obviously), but he missed some opportunities.

There were multiple times when we had guys open down the field and Cam uncharacteristically opted for the safer throw. I'm talking about guys streaking down the field - one play comes to mind where Ginn got behind the defense. Stuff you can only really see when you're at the game. So, blame Shula all you want for his "conservative" offense, but if Cam hits one of those deep throws suddenly Shula is a genius.
