Steelers pounded by injuries

Maurkice Pouncey, Larry Foote and Larod Stephens-Howling are all out for the season as of tonight.

 

Add in that they lost to the Titans today and looked bad doing it.

pouncey gets injured every year so no surprise there

 

losing foote hurts but the steelers just aren't anywhere close to what they were a few years ago

Howling was going to be their return specialist this year.  And per PFT he was actually their leading rusher today.

 

Will agree with you though that the Steelers aren't what they were.

 

I've heard some Steeler fans calling for Mike Tomlin's head.  Pretty sure they haven't fired a head coach in my lifetime.

They have been slipping for some time now.

 

Can't really put my fingers on it, but maybe it just that "physical" brand of football doesn't produce enough wins in the regular season.

 

Need O to get to the playoffs, and D to get through the Super Bowl.
