Guys shove opponents in the facemask every game....I think he got ejected bc the ref was walking inbetween them and didn't like being so close.

It wasn't a shove, he popped him in the facemask with the ref standing right in front him.  Rivera was all over him as he came off the field.  Glad to see some fire out of Ron.

Didn't cost us the game but dumb move.

Yeah, and Clay Matthews hit the tackle from San Fran in the head five times after hitting Kaepernick late way out of bounds and nothing happened.  I would have told him to be smart but don't lose that fire.

The Panthers may have set a team record for apologies today.

Has anyone heard from Armond Smith, or is he still in the hospital having his second asshole that Smitty ripped him surgically repaired?

I sat behind the Panthers bench and saw all of that.  I heard some but couldn't make out the words.  89 was hot!  I'm glad the captains are stepping up and getting in their faces about crap like that.  Players had a few words for Alexander as well.

On a positive note, after the TD, Cam went down the entire bench slapping hands, including the right side where the defense sits.  Luke does that with the defense as well.  We have more young leadership in place than I can ever remember with this team.

I'm pretty sure Rivera told him to play smarter ... right before he told him to get off the field.  If I recall correctly, his penalty negated a sack on third down which would have put them out of field goal range.  Thankfully, CJ covered for him with the fumble recovery and it didn't hurt us.

Good for Clay.  I hate the 49ers. :P
