I concur. I thought for sure that the pressure the front 7 was going to bring would cause him to throw up some ducks. I figured we would get more than just the one fumble, but I was thankful for it when we for it. Stupid Alexander... He owes CJ somin' real nice

As a Hawks fan I knew this game would be really close and come down to a key turnover or key play.  I was really impressed by the Panther's front 7.  Man, Lynch and our O-line looked remarkable average against your defense.  I was terrified of this game and feel lucky we pulled out a W on the road.  Not sure about your coaching as I haven't followed the progression over the last few years but the one thing that I've always been impressed with the Hawks staff is the willingness to change the game plan on the fly and especially in the 2nd half.  We've always played great in the 3rd and 4th quarter in terms of making key adjustments.  

 

And Wilson is the real deal.  He's not a "game manager" as was implied on this site a few times.  Wilson can absolutely win games with his poise and his arm.  He got banged around pretty good today though.  Never seen him that way before which is a testament to the Panther's Defense.  Had Williams held on to that ball this could be a very different outcome.

Wilson impressed me. He was under pressure, took some big hits, but still made some accurate big-time throws. Kid has that x-factor. I remember when Jake could just throw the ball up and find its way into a teammates hands for some great comeback wins. Then karma turned on him and all he could do was throw INT's. That Arizona game still haunts me.

Wilson can throw better on the run than any QB I have ever seen.

After suffering through the Mora era of Hawks ball I totally feel for you.  The ball calling for you guys on offense today definitely.................passive?  I used to get so pissed seeing the same, Run, Run, Pass, Punt template over and over!  Our D-line is in shambles and your run game was putting in work.  The one screen pass that I saw was effective and then never called again.  ??  Sucks to have talent like Smith and Cam and not have the play calling that utilizes it well.  The Hawks defense is definitely good though.  It had something to do with it.  But not going for it on 4th and inches with our D-line right now?  Let's just say I was happy to see the punt.

I will say from panthers fans this time around it has to be one of the more tamer meltdowns after an opener loss that I've seen in the 9 years I've been here.
