Welcome to Shula ball....

He called a game that took what the defense was giving. The last drive was great call after great call until the fumble. Olsen had two huge drops, DWill fumbled away points. The knock last year was that we abandoned the run and relied too much on the big play. Now we have a game with some balance where Cam completes 70% of his passes, and that's an issue too.

If DWill doesn't fumble, we score a Td and win, Shula looks smart for taking what the defense gave.

I liked Shula's play calling.  Our offense moved the ball well when they were actually on the field.  Drives were killed by two critical plays:

The Greg Olsen drop

The Williams fumble

Even if those drives resulted in field goals, we win the game.  No play caller is going to be able to put up tons of points against the Seahawks defense.

I'm in the press conference right now. Rivera thinks they can get it fixed.

He is saying we lost to a playoff team, and that's not so bad.

If that really is his attitude, I'll be sick. You play to win every game, no matter who you play. go ask 89 if its ok to lose because Seahawks made the playoffs last year.

I wonder if Ron realizes that like half our games this year are playoff teams from last year.
